I have combination skin that tends to get dehydrated in certain areas, which causes excess oil and flaking. After applying toner and layering it 2-3 times on top, my skin feels much more hydrated and comfortable. I'm really happy with how it's working! I have dry skin, and this product feels so rich and luxuriously creamy that it seems perfect for my skin type. I'm definitely planning to repurchase this next time. The price point is a bit steep, but since it works so well, I guess you get what you pay for. My skin is hydrated and sensitive, but this product works wonderfully without causing any irritation or breakouts. There's nothing really to complain about in terms of performance, but I do think the price point is a bit steep.

As a boosting essence, it's honestly the best I've tried. Even when I layer it right after my toner, it works beautifully. I'm completely hooked and already on my second bottle. Works wonderfully as an exfoliating toner. Even though my skin tends to be sensitive, it didn't cause any stinging or itching. 1. Dryness - If you're looking for hydration rather than exfoliation, you'll need to use it alongside other essences or ampoules. 2. It applies smoothly and feels lightweight without any sticky residue. The texture feels really hydrating and the scent is pleasant. It absorbs nicely and delivers excellent moisturizing benefits. The fragrance has a somewhat mature scent to it. Also, if you leave it sitting for a while, it seems to harden around the opening. The formula feels a bit sticky at times. I've been using this since I was around 24, and now that I'm 30, I'd say I've gone through it for almost 6 years. I've been loyal since before the redesign, so I think I've used about 20 bottles total... My sister and I both refuse to switch - it's our number one staple product. My skin is seriously problematic with acne, sensitivity, and tiny bumps everywhere, and while it does shift with my cycle, this really excels at tackling internal dryness and refining my skin texture. I honestly can't bring myself to try anything else. The texture is a bit runny like nasal mucus, but it feels incredibly hydrating and amazing. The instructions say to use it with a cotton pad, but because of the steep price tag, I just pour a bit into my palm and quickly pat it all over my face. It works great that way too! The glass container is a bit heavy. The main downside is the expensive price point. It's wonderful to layer it multiple times right after cleansing. I use it twice in summer and three to four times in winter with quick patting motions.
