This lip product is so easy to apply! The size and shape fit perfectly along the lip line and upper lip contour, so you don't need to struggle with precise application. What I love most is that despite having a moisturizing, slightly creamy texture, the color stays put for an impressive amount of time. The shade looks like a coral peachy tone when you swatch it on your hand, but once it's on your lips, it transforms into a bright hot pink. The packaging feels cheap because it's all plastic, and honestly, it looks like it would shatter if you dropped it even once. The case design is unique, but it does feel a bit cheap, if I'm being honest. The transparent plastic material is probably unavoidable, so I can't fault it too much. It's also a little bulky. I'd describe it as a pink coral. The staying power isn't great, so I need to reapply it. But since the color shows up so well, reapplying feels like a hassle. I wish it had more of a tint function rather than just acting like a lip balm. I originally bought this for a no-makeup look, so the strong color payoff actually works against what I wanted. The color is absolutely gorgeous, and the color payoff is amazing even though it has a lip balm texture. Since I have cool undertones, I loved creating a gradient by layering this with a deeper shade on the inner part of my lips. My lips are naturally quite sensitive, and whenever I use the wrong lip product, I tend to get chapped lips right away. This one triggered that reaction for me too. When I wore it during a two-day trip, my lips started getting irritated and uncomfortable by the second day, so I had to skip lip products entirely on day three and just stick with a soothing lip balm. If you have sensitive lips like me and need to be careful about which lip products you use, I'd really recommend thinking twice before trying this one.

My complexion has a yellow undertone and is on the deeper side with some lingering blemish marks, plus a bit of redness on my cheeks. The best thing about this product is that I can apply it quickly and easily without even looking in a mirror. Pomelo has a subtle peachy tone with a natural coral finish. It blends beautifully into bare skin without sitting on top or looking patchy—the color just melts right in, which I love. Since my skin has yellow undertones and is on the deeper side (though not extremely), Pomelo worked the best when I swatched it on my skin. It's a natural coral shade that would look great on fair skin too. (My personal take on the color mix: about 20 percent pink, 30 percent red, and 50 percent orange.) The staying power is weak, and the cap gets loose the more you use it. It doesn't pop open on its own, but it opens so easily that I have to keep it in a separate compartment in my bag to prevent accidents. If you want to use it like a tinted lip balm, apply it alone. If you want better longevity, layer a more pigmented and long-wearing product first, then apply this one a couple of times on top as a final step. When the two products blend together, the color becomes more vibrant and the staying power is noticeably better than using this product solo.
