- My lips are really sensitive. I get flaking easily, and if a product doesn't work for me, I break out or get irritation, especially when I'm tired. With lip tints, it's not just about the formula—certain pigments just don't agree with my lips. Some products turn my lip condition into a complete mess. - But this one? No issues like that. It feels genuinely gentle. - It's moisturizing. You know how some lip products have a pretty shine on the surface but are super dry underneath? Even colored products from lip balm brands can dry out quickly. This one doesn't do that. Even if the shine fades, I've never had dryness cause problems. - The color is subtle enough that I can wear it bare-faced without feeling self-conscious. My only concern is making sure I pick the right shade for my skin tone! - For me, this shade 01 Ballerina is kind of awkward. Even on the same face, some days it looks fresh and radiant, other days it looks yellowish like I have jaundice, and some days it just looks darker. This shade 01 looks pretty nice when my complexion is looking bright, but the moment my skin isn't cooperating, my lips just look disconnected from my face. It looks painful or just off, you know? The color is such a delicate pale pink and it's absolutely gorgeous! The case is adorable too. The shade is really, really sheer so I'm basically using it like a lip balm, but honestly the super transparent finish works for me in its own way!

I love this lipstick because it doesn't cause any irritation. I bought it because a YouTuber called it a "tokki" shade, but when I apply it generously, it looks just like the photos. It gives more of a soft pink lip balm effect. When I take pictures, it comes out even more pink than it looks in real life. Updated 2024.3.28 Now that the weather is getting warmer, I'm getting some small folliculitis around my lips. Since I have very dry skin, I tend to have reactions to most moisturizing lip products anyway. I applied it with just a light swipe back and forth for this photo. The hand swatch is from a single gentle stroke. If you're after that natural lip look, I'd definitely recommend it. It blends so seamlessly, like it's your own natural lip color. I can't really identify any downsides yet. Since there aren't many products out there without any questionable ingredients, I'll use up this one first and if nothing stands out as a problem, I'll probably repurchase it. Pink shades especially tend to show this chalky separation, but this one doesn't have that problem. It blends really smoothly without that separated feeling. 2. Application It applies beautifully even with a heavy hand. You know how expensive tinted lip balms are so thin that you have to apply them gently and use barely any product? This one has the consistency of a regular lip balm, so you can just swipe it on generously without worrying. It's perfect for everyday touch-ups without any fuss. 1. Packaging The concept is nice, but it feels way too cheap, honestly. It's like the kind of plastic container you'd find in a toy store playset. The actual product is good, but the packaging is just... not it. 2. Color payoff The color doesn't show up as well as I'd hoped. You need to apply it twice before the shade really comes through. And even though it's supposed to be a delicate pink, once it's on your lips it looks surprisingly purple-toned.

What you're left with is just a basic, transparent lip balm that does nothing for your lips. The color is so sheer that you barely see any payoff unless you layer it multiple times. And honestly, the case feels incredibly fragile—almost like an eggshell. I have to be so careful carrying it around because I'm worried it'll shatter at any moment. The transparency is nice in theory, but the scent is what really bothers me. It has this warm caramel-like smell mixed with that old-fashioned mom's makeup vibe, which feels a bit suffocating and dated. If you want to showcase this lip balm's signature milky pink tone, you'll need to neutralize your natural lip color first. But here's the catch: if you layer on concealer or cushion foundation to neutralize, it can get heavy and dry, especially for those with dry lips. Even this hydrating lip balm won't be able to keep up, and you'll end up with flaking and peeling. Instead, use just a tiny bit of leftover base product and focus on darkening only the lip line to create definition. That way, you'll get the color payoff you're looking for without overdoing it.

The formula feels so comfortable, and the packaging is genuinely beautiful. Unfortunately, the color fades pretty quickly and the pigmentation isn't as strong as I'd hoped. For the price, it's decent enough, but I have to say the case design is a bit underwhelming.
