To be honest, the shades were incredibly deep, so I wasn't really interested at first. But then it blew up on YouTube, and I ended up impulse-buying it out of curiosity. First off, the color payoff is absolutely insane—I'm talking using just the tiniest amount for my eye makeup. There's quite a bit of fallout, and the shades apply more with a heavy, chalky feel rather than a clean, crisp finish. Most of the palette leans warm, except for the plum shadows, taupe, bone, and champagne shades. When I first got it, I was honestly intimidated to even try the plum shadow (and the orange-rust tones too!). But after six years of having this palette, I've gotten pretty comfortable with it. These days I actually use the burgundy shade mixed with eyeliner for a really nice look. I'm sure everyone feels the same way, but the velvet case and the price point are real considerations. When I bought mine, it was $50 CAD, but now it's $60. That's just my take, but this brand used to be super popular in North America, and honestly, it doesn't feel like it has the same appeal anymore.

The composition is so well-thought-out and the versatility is incredible. The pigmentation is stunning, and the moment you open it, it just makes you feel happy. I'm so glad I found you. There's one major drawback though. The shelf life is only six months, which feels really short. I'm strict about expiration dates, so I had to let it go without hesitation, but it definitely left an impression. The color payoff is absolutely fantastic. There are versatile shades perfect for everyday wear, plus a stunning red that works beautifully as an accent color, giving you so many styling options. The shimmer shadows are a great bonus too—they're perfect for adding that extra pop of color when you want it. The color intensity is a bit too strong, which made it tricky to control the application. The color payoff is amazing! You don't even need an eyeshadow primer because the staying power is fantastic. It blends like a dream, and it works beautifully whether you have warm or cool undertones. Since the pigmentation is so rich, I recommend tapping off a little product before applying it to your brush. The brush that comes with it is a bit too thick, which makes it a little awkward to use.

This palette does have some, but here's the good news: it's mainly the matte shades that shed. The four shimmer shades actually have noticeably less fallout! Stay power and adhesion: These shadows grip your skin beautifully. The shimmer shades especially glide on smoothly and lock into place perfectly. Pair it with a primer and the wear time becomes absolutely incredible! Color selection: When this palette launched in 2016, it completely revolutionized the eyeshadow market - before this, you were basically stuck with brown-toned palettes. This one brought together everything from rusty oranges to burgundy and pink tones. You get versatile, everyday-friendly shades that won't overwhelm your look, plus bold, personality-packed colors for when you want to make a statement. The range is absolutely perfect. Included brushes: One side of the brush is decent, but the blending brush is honestly pretty rough and scratchy. I'd recommend skipping that one entirely. Where to buy: I picked mine up at Sephora when I was living abroad, but getting this in Korea is definitely way pricier and harder to find. Come on, Anastasia - please bring this to Korea already!

The shimmer and matte finishes are beautifully balanced, and the pigmentation is incredibly rich. Even though there's more fallout than the Urban Decay palette, I find myself reaching for this one more often because the color selection is just superior. The brush that comes with it is basically unusable. I just toss it. There is noticeable fallout, so I tap it on the back of my hand first before applying. The color payoff is absolutely incredible! I honestly haven't found a matte eyeshadow with such vibrant, true-to-color pigmentation and such smooth, blendable application. The shades are genuinely beautiful when you know how to work with them. I purchased mine from Sephora in the US, but if you want to buy it in Korea, you have to order it internationally, which is pretty inconvenient. Some people mention that the included brush isn't great, but I actually love using the softer side of the built-in brush to sweep the color across my lids. I used to only have brown-toned eyeshadows, but this palette features orange and purple as the main shades, which is refreshingly unique and beautiful. The color payoff is smooth and applies so nicely. The Love Letter shade doesn't have great color payoff. Màu sắc thực sự tuyệt đẹp và độ bám màu cực kỳ tốt. Thường thì khi mua một bảng màu, tôi luôn có những màu không dùng được, nhưng với sản phẩm này thì tất cả các màu đều xinh xắn lắm. Cây cọ thì... không có tác dụng gì cả. Có chút bụi rơi ra, nhưng nếu bạn lấy cọ ra và vỗ nhẹ trước khi sử dụng thì mọi thứ ổn thôi. Tôi không cảm thấy bất tiện gì đặc biệt. Cứ mua đi, bạn sẽ không hối tiếc đâu.
