When applied, it develops into a soft gray-brown with subtle pink notes. The formula has a fluffy, pudding-like texture that creates a beautiful blurred effect when blended out. Compared to other pot-type tints I own, it sits somewhere between Daisy and Wake Make in terms of finish. The transfer is similar to Wake Make, which means there's some movement, but the excellent adhesion means color still clings to my lips even when it does shift. The scent is completely neutral—I couldn't detect any fragrance at all. The portability and ease of use are the same drawbacks you get with any pot-type lip product. Plus, the price point is steep, comparable to options like Puff Pudding Pot or Daisy Souffle Pot. That said, I went ahead and bought it because this brand didn't have anything with this particular muted tone before.

You can get away with minimal lip prep and still have gorgeous results. I usually need a lip liner, but this formula creates such a natural, fuller lip look on its own. I'm really impressed! Since I travel light and only carry a mirror and lip balm, this is perfect for me. It applies beautifully even when I use my fingers. The staying power is fantastic. Even when I blot on a tissue and see some transfer, when I check the mirror my lips still look perfect. The adhesion is noticeably strong. This is the first time a formula has made me want to buy it in every other shade available. I picked a shade too close to my natural lip color, so I tried layering another lipstick on top to add more dimension. That's when the flaking started immediately. This matte lip doesn't seem to work well when you layer other products over it. If you want to use this as a cheek tint, you'll need to be careful with how much you apply. The color is more subtle than I expected, which makes it perfect as a base lip product! I'd definitely recommend it for a natural, bare-lip look too. It fills in fine lines beautifully and gives such a pretty finish! True to its name, the texture is wonderfully powdery and soft. If you're not a fan of very matte finishes, this might not be the best match for you. This muted pink shade is so versatile and works beautifully in so many ways. It applies smoothly and blends effortlessly across the skin. The pot format makes it a bit tricky to use on the go, which is disappointing. I wish it came in a more portable option.
