The color might look a bit muted in certain lighting, but it's actually a beautiful shade for deeper undertones. The shine is gorgeous too. It has a clear, transparent finish that looks so natural. Plus, it's super easy to apply with just your fingers. The color doesn't really stain, and it doesn't last very long. It transfers quite a bit. But honestly, aside from those things, the formula holds up well and everything else is totally my style, so I can't really complain. Such a gorgeous warm coral-orange shade! The name really captures it perfectly. The shine is absolutely stunning. I wish it were easier to reach since it has a stick format. This lip product layers beautifully with other lip colors. The plump, glossy finish is absolutely gorgeous, and it feels so comfortable on the lips! It's not sticky at all. It's lighter than other lip glosses I've tried. (Red persimmon balm is superior to Rom&N melting balm, which beats Nature Honey melting, and those are way better than Hera spicy gloss). Unlike Rom&N or Nature products that give that bouncy, firm moisture feel, this one delivers a luminous shine with subtle hydration. Personally, I use Rom&N and Nature products when I want intense color payoff or need moisture during dry spells, but I reach for this one when I've applied tint and want that extra glow. I'm really satisfied with it and would definitely repurchase. I've noticed the red persimmon balm has better color payoff than the apple balm version. You need to apply this with a brush to get a pretty finish. That's the annoying part—it's inconvenient to carry around, and hair keeps sticking to it. 1. Perfect shade for deep undertones! I absolutely love how Romand Cotton Melba and Cha Cha Tint work on me, but after cooling down my hair tone, I was worried Hongsi Bam wouldn't suit me either. Turns out it looks amazing on both my brown hair and toned-down hair! 2. Moisture is excellent: I have really dry lips - I usually need to apply Vaseline at night and exfoliate the next morning before I can even apply tint. But on a night I forgot the Vaseline, I tried Hongsi Bam and my lips didn't crack and stayed comfortable all day. It's not just a pretty color, the hydration is seriously top-notch. 1. Longevity: Honestly, expecting long-lasting wear from a lip balm is pretty unfair. Just keep in mind the color won't stay put all day. 2. Formula: If you keep it in a bag that touches your body, the balm gets a bit melted. Come summer, it'll probably turn into a complete mess. What are you even supposed to wear in summer? 3. The intense moisture causes hair to stick to your lips when there's wind, and I even had an ant from a tree stick to my lips. It's not super sticky, but if you don't like that slippery feeling, this isn't for you. 4. Amount: It disappears when you drink through a straw, disappears when you eat, so you need to reapply constantly. Plus, you have to apply a generous amount for good color payoff, which means it runs out way too fast. I'll definitely buy two next time. 5. Brush: Don't buy the brush separately. It has this design where you pull it up and down to extend the bristles, but after just a month, the cap came off when I pulled it up and the brush became useless. It was 9,900 won? There's a portable brush at Olive Young for around 4,500 to 4,900 won - just get that instead. Even if you buy two of those, it costs the same as one brush from here. 1. Cha Cha Tint plus Hongsi Bam: The color gets really rich, and when I wear this combo, my friends said I looked 4 years younger! After cooling down my hair, Cha Cha stopped working with it, so I can't use this pairing anymore, but if you have deep undertones, I highly recommend it. 2. Cotton Melba plus Hongsi Bam: A delicate, soft color combination! 3. If you have a deeper natural lip tone, you can wear this solo and it looks absolutely radiant. I got a deep undertone diagnosis and was told coral shades suit me, so I trusted the recommendation and grabbed this peachy-coral shade. Since it seems like the creator made this for their own use, the staying power is seriously impressive. Most lip balms fade away and need constant reapplication, but this one? I apply it once during my workday and it lasts all day unless I'm eating constantly. It's fragrance-free, so if you usually skip lip balms because of scent, you have nothing to worry about here. Honestly, I recommend this to everyone around me. It's that good. If you prefer convenience, the jar format might feel inconvenient since you have to scoop it out with your fingers. I originally used stick lip balms, so I was disappointed about getting product on my hands. However, given the formula and how the product is designed, I think the jar format was unavoidable. The lip brush available as a bundle applies smoothly with good control, and since it comes in a compact size, it's super convenient to carry around. I'd definitely recommend getting them together. When applying, try blurring the lip line and creating a gradient effect for a prettier look! If you apply it thicker than your usual amount, it gives such a delicate, soft appearance. If you wear other lip color products, I'd suggest applying a tint first and then using this as a final glossy top coat to seal everything in. But that's just my personal take!
