If you have naturally bluish or purplish lips like mine, this is perfect as a base. It corrects your tone beautifully and does the job right. Once you layer a warm peachy-burgundy shade on top, you get that gorgeous candy-coated lip look you're after. The applicator tip works, but it's honestly awkward to use for spreading the product smoothly. I end up scooping some out with the tip and patting it onto my lips, then blending it with my fingers. Also, if you don't wipe the tip clean after each use, it gets pretty messy.

The formula feels as moisturizing as a lip balm, and the color payoff is surprisingly impressive. With a nice range of shades to choose from, this works beautifully on its own without needing other products. If you naturally have deeper or more pigmented lips, the color might appear more intense than you'd expect.
