The color payoff is absolutely stunning, and I'm obsessed with how silky and smooth it feels on my lips. My lips tend to have a darker undertone naturally, but when I layer the coral shade to neutralize that and then add the warm brown on top, it's absolutely flawless. The only downside is that it's not available for purchase on Olive Young, which is frustrating. But honestly, after trying the coral lip balm, I'm so in love that I'm seriously considering buying every single shade they have. I actually use this as a multi-purpose product for my cheeks and under my eyes for subtle contouring, and the effect is incredible. It completely transforms my whole look for the day.

Compared to other pot-type formulas I own, it sits somewhere between Daisy and Wake Make in terms of texture and feel. It does transfer a bit like Wake Make does, but the adhesion is really strong, so even when it does transfer, the color stays nicely on your lips. The scent is completely neutral - I didn't pick up any fragrance at all. The portability and ease of use are pretty much the same drawback you get with any pot-type lip product - it's just not the most convenient format. Plus, the price point is on the higher side, similar to other premium options like Puff Pudding Pot or Daisy Souffle Pot. My lips are always dry and cracked, so I struggled to apply matte lipstick before. But this matte lip balm glides on so smoothly between every line on my lips - I absolutely love it! The color payoff is really impressive, but I wish the staying power lasted longer.

If you don't like getting product on your hands, I'd recommend bringing a silicone brush—it makes overlining so easy. Personally, I didn't notice any texture or dry patches showing through.
