It applies so smoothly and effortlessly, and the coverage is honestly better than I expected I haven't found any downsides to it yet while using it

The application is smooth, and since it doesn't set too quickly, even beginners will find it forgiving to use. Overall, it has that department store quality feel. The base itself is worth the price tag, delivering solid to excellent performance across the board—application, longevity, and color payoff all impress. It's genuinely hard to find any flaws with this product. It goes beyond just being decent; it's legitimately good. That said, drugstore bases have really stepped up their game lately, so the gap between price points isn't as dramatic as it used to be. If you're not the type to obsess over base application or don't need intensive skin coverage, the value for money might not justify the splurge. Compared to the popular matte option from He*, while He* does set faster, it seems to hold up even stronger in summer heat. If you have oily or combination skin, He* might be the safer bet.
