The texture feels a bit thick at first, but when you warm it up and massage it in several times, it becomes so smooth and glides beautifully! I got it with a gua sha set and it's absolutely perfect for massage sessions! The scent might be polarizing for some people, I'll admit... but honestly, it's ideal for using as a leg massage product in the evening! I honestly can't imagine getting through summer without this and the tea tree hair tonic... After a cold shower, I apply this and sit under the air conditioning, and it feels absolutely heavenly. Pros - Formula and hydration: My face tends to be oily, but my body is extremely dry. During winter, even after applying emulsion, the itching gets so intense that I end up scratching until it bleeds. So this year, I decided to try using body oil instead. I checked out several products through reviews and decided to give this body oil a shot. Since this was my first time using an oil product, I was concerned about hydration, but I also didn't want anything too sticky that would stain my clothes. I tested it at the store first and was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight it felt, so I picked it up. Even though it's a light oil formula, it provides adequate moisture, making it perfect not just for winter but summer too. - The oil has a fresh, clean texture. I noticed there's a real difference between applying it to completely dry skin versus applying it when skin is still slightly damp. When I apply it to damp skin, the spreadability is so much better. Plus, if I layer an emulsion on top, the hydration power doubles, so for extremely dry skin, I'd definitely recommend this method. - Scent: It has a grassy, minty vibe without being overly woody or neutral, so there's really no love-it-or-hate-it factor. It's both a strength and a weakness because I genuinely think this product is meant for summer use only. I didn't initially consider the scent reviews and just went for it, but when I apply this followed by emulsion, it's so refreshingly cool that my teeth practically chatter from the chill. Definitely save this one for summer only! Cons - Longevity: Because of the lightweight formula, the staying power isn't incredibly long-lasting. Based on my winter experience, when I apply both the oil and body emulsion together, it lasts about 10 hours (keeping in mind that I have extremely dry skin). For people with normal skin, the oil alone without emulsion should work perfectly fine. - Amount and price: The quantity feels a bit small for the price, so I'll probably need to wait for sales at the store to repurchase. - Scent: The mint in the formula is so invigorating and cooling that it's almost too much for the current season. After using it a few times, I realized it's just not practical right now, so I'm planning to buy another version with a different scent.
