It's honestly ideal for effortlessly protecting against UV rays when you're applying sunscreen without anything else on top. While I'd give it high marks for convenience, the performance drops significantly in summer. It tends to shift and smudge easily, especially when you sweat, and it wears off quickly. Apply too much and it moves around fast; apply too little and you're left wondering if you're actually getting proper protection. Also, despite having good ingredients, I sometimes experience breakouts. I think this is more about my skin being sensitive and prone to irritation rather than an ingredient issue. I remember using it without any additional breakouts during a period when my skin was severely compromised and blotchy. Bottom line: the value for money isn't great, so I won't be repurchasing. Since I'm wearing makeup more often these days, this formula just doesn't work for me anymore, so I've stopped reaching for it. I'm a sunscreen nomad with extremely sensitive skin, so I have to be really picky about both my toner and moisturizer. Since this is an emulsion, it applies smoothly without feeling tight or heavy. Even as time passes, my skin stays hydrated without becoming dry or oily, which I absolutely love. It tackles both dryness and excess oil, so I'm really satisfied. My skin barrier gets damaged easily because of my extreme sensitivity, but this one is easy to wash off, so that's great. When I use sunscreen, I check four things: oiliness, dryness, eye irritation, ease of removal, and white cast. I'm happy with all of them. Since it's mineral-based, there's naturally no eye irritation at all. After one month of use: It handles oiliness, dryness, and easy removal perfectly. But when I layer it on, it balls up, and by the third layer, it starts to peel off like dead skin. That's what August was like for me. Since my face tends to have a yellow undertone, the white cast is more noticeable on me. There is some white cast, but since it's mineral-based, I factor that in and use it anyway. It seems to fade a bit as time goes on. I apply it in small amounts and spread it out evenly. When it balls up from layering, I dab my fingertip with a little water and gently roll it to remove the excess, then pat it with a facial tissue to absorb the moisture, wipe it clean, and reapply. But this technique works when my face is bare. If I'm already wearing makeup, this method becomes tricky.
