It might work well simply because there's nothing concerning in the ingredients—a bit of a placebo effect, really I've tried all three Aubrey shampoos (Green Tea, Calendula, and GPB), and this one is incredibly thick and heavy. The moment I work up a little lather in my hands and apply it to my hair, it just clumps up—honestly, it's pretty disappointing. On top of that, it doesn't even lather well. It just gets sticky and matted wherever I apply it. Plus, my scalp felt itchier the next day than with any other Aubrey product I've used. If you're thinking about trying Aubrey shampoos, I'd skip this one and go with the Green Tea instead - na********Da khôDa dị ứng10/09/2018 (UTC+0)
The ingredients are reassuring! It really helped calm down my scalp irritation and flaking. I've learned once again that just because a product doesn't contain harmful ingredients doesn't mean it's perfect or right for everyone's skin. Beyond the inconvenience of it not lathering well, I experienced significant hair loss and my scalp became incredibly flaky and irritated. I'm honestly not sure what to use anymore... my scalp feels like it's in a completely different category of sensitivity. - fr********Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmĐược đề xuất25/06/2018 (UTC+0)
I've tried both expensive and budget-friendly shampoos, but I've never found anything quite like this one, so I've been using it for years now. I don't have oily hair, but my scalp used to get so itchy that I'd scratch it until it bled. Since I started using this shampoo, that's completely stopped happening. Just keep in mind you need to use it consistently for at least 3 months to see real results. Some people say it doesn't lather much, which makes it harder to work through their hair, but honestly, if you add water gradually while you're washing, it works fine. Also, the "Luxurious" version they have creates more lather if that's something you prefer. The scent is a bit underwhelming. It's not bad, but it's not particularly pleasant either. That said, it's still worth using. If you have long hair, I'd recommend pairing this with an Aubrey conditioner. The scalp feels really clean, which is great, but the hair strands feel a bit stiff afterward, so blow-drying can be a little frustrating. But overall, still worth it! - ga********Da dầuDa mụn09/08/2017 (UTC+0)
When I use lower-quality products, I tend to get scalp irritation, but since this formula is so well-formulated, I haven't experienced any of those issues after using it. My hair gets incredibly stiff when I shampoo, making it really difficult to rinse out. The lather is also pretty weak. Even after I massage it into my scalp for a few minutes and do a thorough rinse, within a few hours my scalp starts to smell and feels greasy again. Out of all the shampoos I've tried, this one left the strongest odor on my scalp. Just because a shampoo has good ingredients doesn't mean it prevents hair loss, and honestly, I'm losing way too much hair with this one. I won't be repurchasing it. You really need to wet your scalp and hands thoroughly first, or you won't get much lather at all. - ic*********Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmDa dị ứng04/10/2016 (UTC+0)
My hair feels incredibly refreshed and clean after washing it. The scent is somewhat herbal-like. Without using a conditioner, my hair feels stiff and dry. - gu****Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmDa mụn27/09/2016 (UTC+0)
Someone recommended a gentle shampoo to me, and I was so curious that I decided to order it through an online retailer. Since there aren't many reviews yet, I wanted to share my thoughts. 1. First of all, the formula is clean and really good. Paraben-free Sulfate-free Gluten-free Phthalate-free Not tested on animals, and so on... I'm not an expert, but people who really know their ingredients say it's gentle. 2. Scalp flaking (dandruff) relief There was a time when I had terrible scalp flaking because I color my hair at the roots so frequently. After using this shampoo, the flaking calmed down significantly. I think that's the best part about it. The texture is thin and watery, with a light brown and pale yellow tint. Since it's as thin as water, you need to pour it carefully into your hands. The scent is a bit herbal, I'd say, but once your hair dries, the smell pretty much disappears. Of course, there are some downsides too. Commercial shampoos produce tons of lather and leave your hair smelling fresh and fragrant after rinsing and drying. This one is basically unscented. 1. Not smooth at all. It feels really dry and stiff. It's like when you get wax residue stuck in your hair after using hair removal strips—that's how stiff it feels. 2. Doesn't lather much You're supposed to wet your hair thoroughly with lukewarm or slightly warm water and work up a good lather, but since I'm rushing out the door every morning, I don't have the time, and the lack of lather makes me unsure if my hair is actually getting clean. You really need to keep washing until you see some bubbles. 3. Can't guarantee silky hair Since I don't use conditioner or treatment products, I just dry my hair carefully with cool air from a blow dryer and a fan. That helps keep my hair in better condition, but I think this shampoo is missing those smoothing ingredients that commercial shampoos have. You know, the ones that make your hair feel super soft? That said, my hair doesn't get worse. Honestly, when I do a deep conditioning treatment with a hair mask for thirty minutes on weekends and then use this shampoo again, my hair bounces back to looking great. Despite these drawbacks, I'm planning to buy it again once I finish this bottle. It's just so gentle. After shampooing and washing my hands, they don't feel slippery even without soap—everything rinses clean. The same goes for my hair. When you shampoo, don't rush through it. Take your time and focus on massaging your scalp thoroughly. After rinsing completely, make sure to dry your scalp fully. - ku*****Da dầuDa nhạy cảmDa mụn28/07/2016 (UTC+0)
I've tried several Aubrey Organics shampoos, and the Blue Chamomile works really well for me. My scalp feels less itchy compared to the orange and red packaged versions. Like most organic shampoos, it does feel a bit dry and tight after washing, but once you get used to it, it's definitely worth using. I alternate between this and Aromatica shampoo here at home, and if the tightness and scent of organic shampoos bother you, Aromatica might be the better choice. That said, Aubrey has been much better for my scalp irritation. The best thing about organic shampoos is that they rinse out completely clean without any sticky residue, leaving your hair feeling fresh and light. The downside is that when you shampoo, it feels tight and doesn't lather much, which makes your hair tangle and becomes inconvenient. The scent isn't particularly appealing either. Using Aubrey's conditioner together with the shampoo definitely helps, but when your hair is already damaged, the tangles get worse and it's hard to comb through. It's especially noticeable right after coloring or perming. In those cases, after using Aubrey shampoo, I apply a conditioner from Kerastase or Pantene only to the hair strands, avoiding the scalp, and use it for about a week to two weeks. It's just not easy to tame damaged hair with organic conditioners alone. - fo*****Da hỗn hợp16/05/2016 (UTC+0)
I bought this when my scalp was really irritated and flaky, and it's been such a relief! This is my holy grail product, hands down! For a natural shampoo, it doesn't leave my hair feeling stiff and straw-like, which is amazing. It definitely doesn't lather as much as I'd like. Don't get me wrong—for a natural shampoo, my hair feels less rigid than with other formulas, but compared to regular drugstore shampoos, there's a noticeable difference.
