I have a sensitive scalp, and I really appreciate how this cleanses effectively without causing irritation. The fragrance is subtle too, which I love. Unfortunately, it doesn't lather as much as I'd hoped. The scent is absolutely amazing - I'm really impressed with how good it smells. It lathers beautifully too, and I have to say it's the perfect cleanser for summer. It leaves my hair feeling so fresh and clean. I'm happy with this shampoo except for the price - it's solid and reliable. This is Aveda's signature shampoo. The price is steep... unless you're buying duty-free, it feels like you're overpaying. I've used up the entire product, so I can't comment on how the formula could improve its cleansing power, but I have to say it has such a refreshing, cooling sensation—probably because of the mint! It's not overwhelmingly intense though; it's just the right amount of cool and crisp, which makes it perfect for summer! The texture isn't thick or heavy; it's actually on the lighter, more fluid side! I love that cooling effect, so I wish it had an even more intense chill to it! But honestly, the level it's at now is totally fine and works well for me. This is such a great pick if you're planning to use it during summer! You'll get that amazing refreshing, cool sensation.

My hair became incredibly dry and straw-like. And despite being marketed as gentle, I didn't feel any comfort or relief on my scalp either!
