Your hair becomes incredibly soft and smooth. If you're worried that hair oils might make your hair look greasy or weighed down, this is absolutely a must-have product. It's the secret to getting that gorgeous shine in your hair. If I had to nitpick, it's that your hands feel slippery after applying the oil, but honestly, that's just how all hair oils work, so it's not really a big deal.

Honestly, if you love that smooth, effortless application feel, this is for you. This is the only Aveda product with silicone in it, and I'm obsessed. I usually skip layering multiple products because oils feel too heavy and sticky on me, but this one? It's absolutely a must-have. If you have really dry hair, you might need to use it multiple times. It's an oil, so true to its lightweight formula, you'll go through it pretty quickly. Apply it to damp hair over an unwashed treatment essence, then use this on dry hair, and you'll get both shine and smooth texture locked in.

There's definitely a noticeable difference between using it and skipping it. I apply it consistently before blow-drying, and it's perfect for keeping my hair in great condition! Since it's an oil formula, I have to wash the oil off my hands after using it, which is the most inconvenient part. If that bothers you too, I'd recommend trying a mist formula instead! I always apply it before blow-drying! Using a hair oil beforehand really protects my strands from heat damage when I use hot styling tools.

I kept trying to place where I'd smelled it before, and then it hit me. The scent has just the right balance of fresh citrus and sweetness, so it doesn't feel overwhelming at all. When I apply it to my hair, it feels refreshing and absorbs quickly, but it doesn't deliver the dramatic transformation you'd get from Moroccan oil. It seems perfect for summer use, but I have to say the packaging is pretty inconvenient. The pump mechanism is slippery, so it's hard to press down properly. Even when I do pump it, it never feels like I'm getting a full dose. I have two bottles at home, and once they're finished, I don't think I'll be repurchasing.

I absolutely love the fresh, herbal scent - it's exactly what I was looking for. The ingredient list is impressive too. Ever since I started using this, people keep complimenting my hair. It's become my go-to product. The bottle size is smaller than I'd like for the price point. It's quite expensive. The pump dispenser is stiff and difficult to press, which makes application frustrating. My hair ends are really damaged, and without any treatment, they get tangled so easily when I brush them. But after I wash my hair and squeeze out the excess water, I apply this product to my ends and dry them. It makes my hair so soft and smooth that I can actually run my fingers through it while drying! My holy grail hair savior for 10 years now - the damage repair and smoothing combo is absolutely incredible. Honestly, even with medium-length hair, I can pump it 8 times and it never gets heavy or greasy. Yes, it contains silicone, but compared to other brands, the formula is really thoughtfully balanced. The scent is personally perfect for me - I absolutely love it. When you think about the price for the amount you get, well, I do use quite a generous amount, so that's on me. It's a product that doesn't get heavy or oily, but it gives you that beautiful shine and even provides UV protection, so it's definitely worth the price. It works great when you mix it with styling products too. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy and convenient this hair essence is to use, even though it's my first time trying this type of product. I usually avoid fragranced products, but I really loved the subtle, sweet fruity scent this hair essence has. After using it, my hair feels noticeably softer and lighter, which is exactly what I was hoping for. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that this hair essence is quite pricey compared to other similar products. You can apply generously without it looking heavy or greasy. It gives your hair a beautiful shine and lustrous finish. First, please consider changing the pump. I was so frustrated using it that I almost threw it away. The pump barely dispenses anything no matter how many times you press it, and worst of all, the product leaks from the container. More product leaks out than actually comes out of the pump. I ended up transferring it to a different bottle to use it properly. As for the results, I didn't notice any calming or smoothing effects on my hair. I received this as a gift, but since it's more expensive compared to other hair serums on the market, I don't think I'd purchase it myself.
