I have a sensitive, flaky scalp that gets itchy and irritated whenever the seasons change or my skin feels dry. When it's really bad, I scratch it until it gets red and even bleeds... I've tried pH-balanced products and bought several highly-recommended options, but none of them really worked for me. This is honestly the only product out of everything I've used that has actually made a difference. I've been using it for a few years now, and it's the first product in 10 years that I've truly stuck with. The price is the only downside. I buy it online, and I've found that you need to thoroughly wet your hair first before using the shampoo to get a good lather. When my scalp needs extra care, I like to use a scalp treatment from the same line that helps exfoliate and strengthen the scalp. Using it about once a week really seems to make a difference. - ji******Da khôKhô từ bên trongNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất02/06/2025 (UTC+0)
I tried the sample and this shampoo truly lives up to its name—Scalp Balance delivers that refreshing, cooling sensation on the scalp. Because it skips unnecessary synthetic surfactants, that fresh, clean feeling lasts way longer than typical products. Unlike some shampoos that feel great right after washing but then your scalp gets oily again almost immediately, this one doesn't have that problem. It's definitely worth making part of your daily routine. Like most Aveda products, the lather isn't as rich and creamy as drugstore brands—it feels a bit stiff, honestly. But since it's made with quality ingredients, you just have to accept that trade-off. And because of that texture, if you have longer hair, you really do need to follow up with a treatment or conditioner. Since the lather isn't super abundant, I apply this product directly to my itchy scalp areas and spots with flaking, then add water to work up a foam. The difference is really noticeable—the areas where I just used the lather feel completely different from where I applied the product directly. It makes a real impact on how clean and refreshed those targeted spots feel. - no*****Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmKhô từ bên trongNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiLỗ chân lông toTế bào da chếtĐược đề xuất25/05/2025 (UTC+0)
I've been using this for about a month now. The scent is absolutely lovely. My scalp flaking and itching have completely disappeared It doesn't produce much lather, so sometimes I'm unsure if it's actually cleansing my hair properly - ci****Da hỗn hợpĐược đề xuất09/01/2025 (UTC+0)
I struggled with seborrheic scalp inflammation for years, where my scalp would flake off in chunks the size of fingernails, turning red and itchy with a burning sensation. Steroid medications only provided temporary relief, and the dermatologist-recommended cleansing shampoos just prevented things from getting worse. But after using this product, my scalp has improved dramatically. It has a refreshing, cool sensation without feeling squeaky-clean. While it's not as intensely oil-controlling as some shampoos claim to be, my scalp stays balanced and doesn't get that greasy buildup. The scent is subtle and calming. The price is steep. A liter of shampoo costs over 190,000 won and the conditioner is 200,000 won. The formula is thin, so it dispenses quickly and sometimes sprays out unexpectedly. The cleansing power isn't particularly strong for oil removal, so I often need to wash twice. Even after shampooing, my hair feels so dry and frizzy that I have to do something extra to manage it. Since this doesn't have hair loss benefits, switching from a functional shampoo has resulted in noticeably more shedding. It's really worth it. If you buy the liter shampoo during the official website's discount period, it comes down to around 166,000 won, and it's also available on Naver with bundle deals at similar prices plus free gifts. The conditioner 1 seems ineffective at first, but by afternoon when I check my curls, there's a noticeable difference. My hair looks smoother and has more body. I recommend purchasing when they're running conditioner promotions. If you have seborrheic scalp inflammation, they usually offer free scalp line products seasonally about once every two to three months, so you can fill out your order with other items and try it for free. - su****Da hỗn hợpNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiĐược đề xuất17/11/2024 (UTC+0)
I've been using this consistently and I can really feel my scalp improving. Aveda products are ones I trust and keep coming back to. The price is quite steep, but honestly aside from that, I can't think of any real drawbacks. - na*********Da khôNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất01/10/2024 (UTC+0)
After pregnancy, I wanted to use a shampoo with quality ingredients, so I purchased Aveda. My scalp is sensitive and tends to be reactive, but this shampoo definitely has a scent that feels close to natural, and it doesn't irritate my skin. Since it's formulated as a scalp solution, my scalp feels refreshed and I've noticed a significant reduction in scalp flaking. I wanted to buy the larger size, but the store was out of stock at the time, so I got the 200ml bottle instead. I'm definitely planning to repurchase next time, maybe trying a larger size with different benefits. The price is outrageous! It doesn't deliver dramatic scalp care results. But then again, since it's not a medical treatment, I didn't expect miracles anyway. - zh******Da hỗn hợpBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenKhô từ bên trong18/12/2023 (UTC+0)
I've been an Aveda loyalist for 15 years now. I've tried most of their products and have settled into rotating between Rosemary Mint and Invati. I was really excited to try their Scalp shampoo since it's been a while since I've experimented with something new, but honestly, I'm not sure how I feel about it. It's kind of in-between, you know? Not quite hitting the mark. It's not as refreshing as Rosemary Mint, but I do appreciate that my scalp doesn't feel tight or stiff after washing. Instead, it feels nicely moisturized, which is a plus. That said, I don't think I'll be repurchasing this one. While it feels refreshing when I'm washing, it doesn't compare to Rosemary Mint. Plus, my scalp felt itchy after using it, which was disappointing. - ni*******Da khôDa nhạy cảmDa mụnDa dị ứngĐược đề xuất17/12/2023 (UTC+0)
I've been dealing with seborrheic scalp inflammation and tried so many shampoos that were supposed to help. After years of experimenting, I finally found my go-to product with this one. While it hasn't completely cleared up the condition, the itching has definitely reduced and my scalp feels so much better overall. If you don't have seborrheic scalp inflammation, you won't really notice much of a difference with this shampoo. I'd recommend trying a different product instead. - tn********Da hỗn hợpĐược đề xuất17/09/2023 (UTC+0)
I've been using Aveda Invati-Light consistently, but I got tired of using the same product every time. I decided to switch it up, and I'm really happy with this new choice! - Scent: Aveda's signature herbal fragrance (smells similar to Aveda's moisturizing cream) - Texture: Rich, concentrated cream formula - Lather: Creates a generous, luxurious foam - Feel: Effectively removes excess oil and leaves skin feeling refreshed (though if you have oily skin, this might be too lightweight for you... I have combination skin and it works great) The price is outrageous... It doesn't even have hair loss relief benefits, yet it costs the same as Invati After applying the product to your scalp, let it sit for at least 1 minute before rinsing it out! - hy*******Da hỗn hợpDa mụnĐược đề xuất19/07/2023 (UTC+0)
Scalp Type: Oily, prone to breakouts I started using this product shortly after it launched. I've gone through about 4 bottles since January. I've been loyal to Aveda shampoos for almost 8 years now. I mainly rotate between Rosemary Mint, Invati, and Men Pure-Formance, but this shampoo has genuinely become my absolute favorite!!!!!! With my oily scalp, my hair gets greasy after just one day without washing, and I've always struggled with scalp breakouts. I tried the Men Pure-Formance shampoo because I heard it was good for breakouts, but it didn't work for me. When this one came out, I decided to give it a shot. Shampoo Highlights It doesn't create an enormous amount of lather, but it does produce a nice, satisfying foam. Plus, there's a refreshing tingle to it!! That said, it's not as intensely invigorating as the Rosemary Mint shampoo—just pleasantly cool and refreshing. The scent isn't overpowering either; it fades once you rinse. After shampooing, my scalp feels clean and refreshed—this is honestly my favorite part. My scalp feels fresh without being uncomfortably dry; it's that perfect balance of clean. Even after sleeping with it washed at night, my hair doesn't get greasy by morning. That said, this isn't one of those shampoos where you can skip washing for days without your hair getting oily. I still need to wash every day or so. Most importantly, my scalp breakouts have decreased significantly. I used to get 4-5 breakouts, and now I'm down to just 1-2. Plus, I've noticed less hair shedding overall. It's not even marketed as an anti-hair loss shampoo, but I genuinely feel like I'm losing less hair. Overall, this is the Aveda product I'm most satisfied with. If you have an oily scalp like me, I think this is the best Aveda shampoo option for you!!! I honestly don't usually write reviews, but this product is so good and had barely any reviews online, so I felt I had to share. I'm definitely going to keep using this! The price is a concern. According to the official website, it's 48,000 won for 200ml, and honestly, 200ml doesn't last very long. The next size up is 1L for 192,000 won, which is quite a jump. The pricing is definitely steep. Also, if you have a dry scalp, you might find this shampoo a bit too drying for your needs.
