This product is fantastic for smoothing out skin texture and removing dead skin cells. I have sensitive skin, but I didn't experience any irritation at all! The pads tear too easily, and the thickness is really inconsistent. I've been using this for over a month now, and even though my skin is sensitive, it worked great for me. The formula is lightweight, which makes it perfect for sheet masking. The scent is pretty standard—nothing that stands out compared to other products. I'm not sure if it's just me, but people have mentioned that my skin tone looks brighter. I didn't experience any irritation or problems, but there's way too much essence in this for an exfoliating toner—it just drips everywhere. Plus, it doesn't really have that exfoliating action you'd expect. Honestly, I'd recommend using it as a sheet mask instead. I always get a pimple or two around my period, my fourth-grade daughter gets the occasional breakout, and my middle school son started developing acne. After searching for solutions, I decided to try this product, and it really seems to help calm down both pimples and acne. My son tends to pick at everything on his face until it gets infected and leaves scars, but I've noticed the blemishes seem to shrink. When he does get a wound, I apply a healing patch first, and after removing it, I use these pads for a few days and they really help the skin settle down beautifully. My daughter doesn't even get breakouts anymore, but she still asks me to apply the pads because she says her skin looks so much better! When we use the pads as a mask treatment, my daughter definitely gets fewer breakouts. My son has even started asking for them himself, saying "Mom, I washed my face, can you put the pads on?" whenever something appears on his forehead. The whole family is using them now, including dad, and we're all really satisfied. The skin feels nourished, there are no irritations, and everyone's happy with the results. I used to use a product with tweezers that kept falling out of the container, which was so frustrating. This one has a design where you place the lid on top of the container, so the tweezers won't fall inside, and it's much more convenient to take out and organize. After using the tweezers to pull out a pad, I keep wondering if I'm grabbing two because they're so thick. I have to touch them to check. The tweezers are a bit awkward for gripping the pads. They're thick enough that they almost seem like two pads stuck together, but you don't need to separate them completely. The best part is that it splits easily into two pieces, so you get double the value! I've heard from people who've used it that their skin actually looks noticeably better. I can't really complain, but if I had to pick something, I wish there was a bit more product in each container.
