I absolutely loved how this product instantly quenches your skin with moisture and keeps everything in place without any dripping or running. The formula is so reliable! There's quite a bit of packaging material, which I initially found surprising when I opened it. But then I realized the multiple layers and collagen formula are probably designed to minimize air exposure and keep everything fresh. So while it's a lot of wrapping, I understand why they did it that way! I applied this mask and fell asleep for about 7 hours. When I woke up, my skin felt like it had this amazing protective coating, you know? At Olive Young where it's easy to shop, each sheet costs about five thousand won, which makes it hard to justify buying them in bulk. I tried the gel mask pack from Abib for the first time, and compared to regular sheet masks, the absorption is so much better. Plus, it's incredibly easy to apply! I'd say a 4-star rating is just as good as 5 stars for me! I'm saving my 5-star reviews for products that completely clear up trouble or become absolutely essential to my routine. Make sure to check out my review comparing this to the BioDance mask - I'm actually leaning toward using this product more! Skin Type Details (My skin condition varies a bit with each review, so I'm going into detail for anyone with a similar skin profile) My skin type is unpredictable and trouble-prone. I have dehydrated, sensitive skin that's also combination (oily on my forehead, nose, and chin) with a tendency toward breakouts, inflammation, and those stubborn little bumps. Right now, I've mostly cleared up the pustules - just one or two lingering - but I'm dealing with dryness that's brought on these tiny bumps across my cheeks. The inner dryness has improved as the weather's gotten better, but my skin still feels tight on the surface, which is making my makeup sit a bit unevenly. I also have overall redness from the breakouts (I tend to get flat, red bumps rather than ones that are pus-filled or raised), and this redness covers my whole face. I naturally have scarring on my cheeks and jawline from past breakouts, along with some small pustules and general redness. Honestly, I've tried a lot of products that are supposed to be amazing, but I rarely see dramatic results - so I don't have many products I'd genuinely call "really great." Hydration The moisture level after using this mask is pretty similar to BioDance. Breakout Control I wasn't really expecting much in this area, so I didn't notice any improvement, but thankfully it didn't make things worse either. Overall Thoughts Considering the price and quality, I think I'd go for Abib over BioDance for the better value. That said, Abib's sheet has a pretty major flaw (see below), so unless I'm grabbing it duty-free at a discount, I probably won't be buying it regularly. The Sheet Issue Honestly, the sheet is soaked with so much essence that it just drips everywhere. Once it dries out a bit and sticks to your face properly, it's fine, but that's really where you see the price difference. I've been using this for about a month now. It feels so hydrating and I really love it. The only thing is that it lifts a bit around the sides of my nose, which is a shame. But honestly, the hydration is amazing and I'm happy with it. Even my mom, who has dry skin, says she loves it too! The price is a bit steep, if I'm being honest. This is truly a holy grail product! I keep it in the fridge and apply it right after showering. The heat and redness from the warm shower water instantly calm down, and as it hydrates my skin, I can actually see the irritation from dehydration disappear by the next day. It's pricey so I can't use it all the time, but I make sure to use it at least once a week! My only wish is that it could be used as an overnight mask. That would make it even better.
