T-zone tends toward oiliness while U-zone is dry. This formula with caprylic acid, dimethicone, and squalane just doesn't work for my skin. I bought this as a night cream for the transitional season through winter (but it turned out to be more of a summer product for me). Texture and feel: I expected a night cream to feel heavy, but I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight it is. When I first apply it, the texture is a bit tacky and takes some effort to spread evenly. After a few minutes though, it absorbs nicely without feeling sticky, leaving a finish that's almost like a thin glaze. My skin doesn't feel comfortable though—it feels tight and like there's a film sitting on top of my skin. Comparing this to another snail cream brand: The other brand spreads more easily and leaves my skin feeling comfortable once fully applied. While this product is also a snail cream so it has some stickiness, that stickiness doesn't fade over time like I'd hoped. It sits on the surface like it could be wiped away completely, creating more of a moisture barrier feeling. With this Abib cream, the stickiness does fade significantly over time as it absorbs, creating that gel-like film finish that's just not my preference. Plus, it's so lightweight that I can only really see myself using it in summer. I don't think this Abib cream is the right match for my skin. I won't be repurchasing.
