I'm writing this review after using the entire bottle. Here's what I loved! The formula is incredibly gentle: I have acne-prone, sensitive skin, and I've tried other products that claim to be mild but ended up irritating my skin. This cleansing oil is genuinely gentle, fragrance-free, and packed with great ingredients. It's actually the first oil cleanser I've finished completely. The cleansing power is impressive: even though it has a slightly acidic pH, I didn't expect much, but it emulsifies beautifully and works wonderfully as a first cleanse. It easily removes cushion foundation, powder, eyebrow products, and lip tints. After using a cleansing milk as my second cleanse and wiping with a cotton pad, my skin felt completely clean. I found this combination so effective that I didn't feel the need to switch to a stronger cleanser. The downsides: Overall, this is such a well-rounded product that there aren't really any major drawbacks, but it didn't make a huge difference with blackheads. It feels really gentle, even though my skin is on the sensitive side. I haven't tried many cleansing oils before, but this formula doesn't feel heavy or suffocating at all. I didn't experience any breakouts either. The scent has a slightly tangy vibe to it, I'd say. I wasn't expecting much from the fragrance when I bought it, but honestly, it smells really nice. Haha! I only use sunscreen stick and powder, so I can't speak to how well it removes other color cosmetics, but the sunscreen stick? It washes off completely clean. If you're looking for this specifically to remove blackheads, I'd skip it. It didn't work for me. And the emulsification just isn't happening. I took photos to document it, but... (I wanted to get a clean shot on the back of my hand, but I ended up with a scratch instead.) I'm not sure if it's me doing something wrong, but every other cleansing oil I've used before turns white and emulsifies instantly when I add water. This one though... anyway, the instructions say to apply it and then add water and keep massaging, so that's what I'm doing.
