Now I understand why everyone around me recommends Aesop's scrub. First of all, the scent is absolutely amazing—I feel so refreshed and pampered after using it as my final exfoliating step. Compared to Flou and Type Number scrubs, this one feels much finer and creates a nice lather. Even after exfoliating, my skin doesn't feel overly dry, though I'd say pairing it with a body emulsion for extra hydration would make the experience even better. The price point is quite steep, which makes it harder to justify trying this scrub at first. I'm using this product all the way through! My skin tends to be dry and rough, so I exfoliate regularly. I notice that a lot of dead skin flakes off, and when I apply an emulsion after exfoliating, it seems to absorb so much better. Plus, there's a lovely lingering scent after exfoliating, so even when I apply an unscented emulsion, the nice fragrance stays on my skin! I wish the size was a bit larger, and I think it would be better if it came in a wide-mouth container format! Since it's in a tube, it's hard to get the product out all the way to the end. I make sure to wet my body thoroughly and let my skin absorb some moisture before using the exfoliating product. Everyone probably knows this already, so I'm not sure if it counts as a pro tip, but it really helps! First of all, I really love that Aesop products don't have that artificial fragrance feel. The body scrub has this subtle, natural herbal scent that's wonderful. The scrub itself is gentle and non-irritating, which I appreciate. The downside is definitely the price point, which is quite steep. Also, the product tends to get messy around the jar opening with regular use, which can be a bit annoying to deal with. For daily use, I just apply it like a regular body wash. When I want a more intensive treatment, I squeeze a small amount into my palm and massage it onto the areas I want to focus on, almost like applying an emulsion. You can gently exfoliate with this product. I'm definitely buying it again - highly recommended! There's really nothing disappointing about it. I'll be purchasing it again. I absolutely love the herbal scent—washing with this really lifts my mood! The scrub is so easy to use, and my skin feels beautifully hydrated afterward!! Thankfully it works great for my skin, so I don't really have any complaints! The only thing is the price point is a bit steep, which does make me hesitate a little. This was my first scrub ever, and I have to say it's working out better than expected! It's not too harsh at all, and the particles are really gentle on my skin, so I can use it without any worry. Honestly, I can't think of anything I'd change about it! The scent also matches perfectly with the cream I'm already using. The geranium scrub smells absolutely wonderful when I use it, and it exfoliates really effectively I wish the scrub had a bit more exfoliating power to it

Just use a light touch when you apply it and you'll love the results! The product dispenses more generously than I expected, so I sometimes feel wasteful when I have to toss out the excess. The fragrance is pretty polarizing, so I'd really recommend testing it out at the store before you buy to make sure it's right for you. Don't pump out a huge amount right from the start. It's better to dispense a little bit at a time and add more as you need it.
