The color payoff is absolutely fantastic! Compared to air lips, this formula feels so smooth and applies beautifully. I've noticed the shade can look slightly different depending on your skin tone, but on me it has this gorgeous warm undertone that I love. The cap doesn't seal completely, which means dust gets in way too easily. Since you have to apply it with your fingers, it's not the most hygienic option. The color deposit is pretty minimal, so the staying power isn't great either.

If you have cool undertones, applying burgundy shades will instantly brighten your complexion and give you that fresh, radiant look! My only concern was hygiene since you apply it directly with your fingers. I occasionally sanitize it with ethanol before use because otherwise it becomes a breeding ground for bacteria! When I apply this alone, I use just a tiny amount and blend it from the inner part of my lips outward. On other days, I either use it to finish my lip look or to touch up, and I gently tap it on the inner part. When I wear it solo, it does get a bit dry, so a lip balm is definitely necessary. There's something about how this product applies with such a unique, creamy texture that I absolutely love. When I swatch it on my hand, it has this slightly deep ink-like tone, but once I put it on my lips, it looks genuinely beautiful. I find myself reaching for this most when I'm doing my lip touch-ups. The downside is that since I have to apply it with my fingers, my hands end up getting messy. But honestly, I feel like I need to use my fingers to get that perfect application feel. When I'm touching up my lips, I just clean up the edges and gently tap it on the inner part, and it looks absolutely stunning.

This shade is absolutely stunning - it's a true blood red that works beautifully on everyone, whether you have warm or cool undertones. When you apply it to just the inner part of your lips, it creates such a gorgeous, natural-looking flush. The staying power isn't as long-lasting as I'd hoped. Since it doesn't come with a built-in applicator like some tints do, you have to apply it with your fingers or use a separate brush, which feels a bit inconvenient. The color is absolutely beautiful. This product has such a lovely, romantic aesthetic that feels so charming and elegant. When applied to cool undertones, it comes out as a deep burgundy shade. It dries way too quickly and turns powdery. Despite being labeled for cool tones, it looks off when cool-toned people wear it.

I first bought Amelie after watching that old video from Hanbyul, and I have the Vampire shade too! Honestly, the single-tube format looks a bit dated now, but when I was purchasing it, I was genuinely unsure if I'd actually use it. A lip product needs to have an applicator, right? There are some downsides, but let me start with the positives like you asked. So the thing Hanbyul mentioned is that the application method really changes everything. The Vampire shade isn't a cool tone—it's more of a scab-like deep orange-red. Because of that, you can apply it smoothly and evenly with the brush for a polished look, or you can casually dab it on with your clean fingers for a really blotchy, uneven effect. Sure, someone might think you rushed getting ready, but that scab-like aesthetic? It's actually intentional and cool! The formula is moisturizing, and since I use a lot of glosses these days that barely have any color, I use this similarly. So the real question is whether it's pretty or weird, and for me as a deep-toned person, it's absolutely gorgeous! It's such a true blood color that I wore it all through Halloween too. Color payoff - it exists but it's minimal Stay power - honestly, it just transfers and disappears Moisture - it's hydrating but the finish is different from today's typical moisturizing lip products Stay power - basically none Portability - carrying the brush around is annoying, and the hygiene factor makes me just leave it at home and use it there Oh, with this shade you can totally recreate that dark red lip look that unfiltered Instagram influencers from Thailand, Vietnam, or China post!

After my holy grail shade was discontinued, I hunted everywhere for a replacement and discovered this gem! As you can see from my rating, it's not a long-wear formula, but it's absolutely worth trying. First off, you have to apply it with your fingers, which makes keeping things clean a bit tricky. When I applied just one layer, I barely saw any color payoff at all. But the second I added a second coat, suddenly it gets thick and heavy. My lips are naturally thin, so the formula just feels like it suddenly takes over. If you're not into overlining or a full lip look, you really need to be careful and only apply it to the inner part of your lips. As for longevity? It actually holds up pretty well.
