It gives my skin such a radiant, luminous glow that I keep it in my bag for touch-ups throughout the day. I noticed this contains talc. There are so many talc-free powder options available these days that I wish I'd known about the talc ingredient before purchasing. I probably wouldn't have bought it if I'd realized. The plastic protective layer that came with it is still intact, and I keep it on. I just place the puff on top of it, which actually gives me peace of mind since the puff doesn't make direct contact with the powder. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure what to say about it. The only thing I can really pick up on is a subtle shimmer, but beyond that, I'm drawing a blank! The formula itself is really solid, but the flimsy packaging completely ruins the experience. I bought the violet version of this product and used it for a while before it broke. I thought maybe I wasn't taking care of it properly, so even though it was disappointing, I decided to give it another shot with the pink version. But after just one month of use, it broke in exactly the same way. I still had so much product left, but I had to throw the whole thing away because I couldn't carry it around anymore. No matter how amazing the formula is, how am I supposed to use it when the case is in this condition? I've reached out to Amelie multiple times, but they just give me generic responses without actually doing anything to help. Based on how they handle things, this doesn't seem like a brand that's built to last.

When it comes to my skin finish, I prefer a clean, refined look created with powder rather than a super shiny, glossy appearance. That's why I always finish with powder, and this product is so convenient to use. The compact case also has a large mirror, which makes it easy to carry around. I own about three Amelie powders (White and Violet), and this is definitely my most-reached-for product. I was initially worried that the peachy tone and pearl shimmer might be too much, but it actually gives my skin a beautiful radiance and vitality that's just right! It also controls oil really well. The moderate setting ability combined with that luminous, polished finish is exactly what I was looking for. The puff can get dirty pretty quickly, and since it's not the washable type, I feel like the puff doesn't offer great value for money. The base staying power is seriously impressive. I'm currently using the Blandibar cushion, which already has great longevity, but this one is genuinely different. When I touch up the cushion, the powder texture clumps slightly, but it's not a deal-breaker at all. Honestly, there's nothing to complain about! The size is generous and I love it.
