This cleanser is gentle on my scalp and does an amazing job removing buildup. I really appreciate that it's formulated with biotin for extra nourishment. This is about the ingredients. There's nothing else to mention. I think the best product is really the one that works for your own hair type. I've never experienced this much hair loss from a shampoo before. While other products have caused some shedding, I've never seen it this noticeably visible. I was skeptical at first, but I'm impressed with how well it cleanses. My hair doesn't feel as rough as I expected, and the scent is natural and lovely. The fragrance fades quickly. Since it's a natural shampoo, you have to keep that in mind. If your hair suddenly feels greasy using just this product, try alternating it with a different shampoo. I really love how this one creates such a rich, luxurious lather compared to the blue bottle from the same brand. It seems like I'm using it mainly because of the quality ingredients it contains. It's supposed to be a volumizing shampoo, but honestly I can't really tell if it's doing that. The formula has quality ingredients and feels smooth and pleasant to use. I'll need to use it longer to really judge the hair loss prevention and volumizing effects, but it lathers nicely and works well regardless of scalp type. This is a reliable shampoo that anyone can use. The blue Andalou shampoo I received before came in vinyl packaging, but this one arrived without any protective wrapping and covered in dust. The product also doesn't have an inner seal, which makes me question whether this is actually new. I'm also concerned that the contents might leak during shipping. I was so happy with the blue version that I decided to try the purple one too. My hair tends to be frizzy and unruly, but this really helps calm it down - I'm really pleased with the results. The scent is even better than the blue version! For my personal hair styling needs, I actually prefer the blue one. This shampoo creates a richer lather compared to the blue bottle version, though it doesn't quite match a standard shampoo's foam production. I've been using the Andalou blue container and was curious about the volume, so I picked this up too. I'm really happy with it! It's not really a downside, but it does have a true lavender scent. I love that this natural shampoo has such a subtle lavender scent. The lather is really rich and full, and after I wash my hair, it feels so much stronger and more voluminous. Personally, I don't mind if my hair feels a bit stiff, but if you're looking for silky smooth strands, you'll definitely want to follow up with a conditioner or rinse.
