This vegan cream is absolutely amazing! The application and feel are incredible! It has a slightly tacky texture, but it glides onto skin so smoothly without sitting on the surface. The hydration is seriously impressive - it absorbs deeply into skin and leaves zero tightness or dryness. I'm recommending this to everyone! The only downside is the amount you get. I wish they offered a larger size! Layering application tip! During winter or on days when skin feels extra parched, apply once and let it sink in, then apply another layer. The hydration is absolutely incredible!! I applied it before bed and woke up the next morning with my face feeling so dewy and plump—no tightness at all. My skin was completely saturated with moisture, and my complexion looked noticeably brighter and more radiant!! I did have some concerns about the hygiene aspect!! When you first apply it, it feels incredibly hydrating and fresh. The scent is also pleasantly subtle, not overpowering at all. About 20 minutes after application, the moisture fades and it starts to feel dry. As a standalone winter cream, it's really not suitable for the colder months. I'd recommend mixing it with an oil or using it as a summer moisturizer instead for better results. I picked this up at a great price, and I'm really happy with it. The scent is pleasant and not off-putting at all, and it applies so smoothly. The price is a bit steep. I started using this while searching for vegan products. I was already using another vegan moisturizing cream, but this one feels noticeably richer and more hydrating. The formula is a cream, but it has this interesting emulsion-like texture that doesn't feel heavy. It has a really nice, bouncy feel to it. Since I have extremely dry skin, one application isn't quite enough for me. When I layer it twice, it absorbs so quickly, which is actually amazing! The absorption is gradual rather than instant, so after applying once, it takes a bit of time before it fully sinks in. That's why I do the double-layer method. Because my skin is very dry, I apply it in two layers, and on the second layer, I mix it with a facial oil before applying. That way, the hydration is so much better!
