While 500ml seems like a generous size, you need to use quite a bit each time, so it doesn't last as long as you'd expect. I love that there's no residue left on my skin after rinsing with water. Since I have atopic skin, I usually get some rough texture on the outer part of my forearms—not quite keratosis pilaris, but definitely bumpy. I've noticed that different body cleansers make this worse or better, and I'm amazed at how much this one has actually reduced it! The cleansing power is stronger than I expected. It claims to ease skin tightness and dryness, but honestly, it just dries out my skin. I was confused to see it's labeled as pH-balanced. Right after washing, I have to apply something immediately because of how tight and dry it feels. My body skin is thicker than my face, so it's manageable there, but when I use it on my face, it immediately feels tight and gets red. After I pat my face dry with a tissue, it gets so dry it looks flaky and irritated. I'm definitely not using this on my face anymore! If you have atopic skin, have you ever noticed that using body cleansers loaded with oils and rich emollients actually clogs your pores and makes your skin feel rougher? That's been my experience. If that sounds like you, or if you tend to have oily skin on your body, I'd really recommend giving this a try!
