It has a beautiful rose scent. This product gives off that luxurious, sophisticated European brand feeling. Soothing? Not at all... The phenoxyethanol content is way too high. Yes, there's rose in it, but the fragrance is overpowering and harsh. It smells like stale rose from years ago, honestly like my grandmother's old makeup. I got a sample and tried it out. True to its name, it has a rose scent, but it's not overpowering or heavy. The formula is quite lightweight, but when I apply it, it feels wonderfully tacky and clingy on the skin, which I really love. The rose fragrance is somewhat strong, so it might not be everyone's cup of tea depending on personal preference.
