I've been using this product for about a year and eight months since my military service days, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. After shaving, all my breakouts disappeared, and the pleasant fragrance combined with the disinfecting properties has me completely satisfied. Since I haven't tried other products to compare, I can't really point out any downsides. However, the disinfecting effect can be a bit intense on sensitive skin. I've been using this for a year now, and I always get that stinging sensation after shaving. But when I apply it right after shaving and before my toner, it definitely soothes and calms my skin noticeably, even though there's some initial sting. Everything about it is great, but since it's an alcohol-based product, it has a pretty strong alcohol smell when you apply it. That said, the results are effective enough that it's worth putting up with the scent. Perfect for sensitive skin after shaving. It has a refreshing, clean sensation that feels like it's disinfecting the area. Clean and fresh feeling. After shaving, the distinctive alcohol scent and slight stinging sensation actually make you feel like it's doing its job disinfecting. Not entirely sure about the scent preference. It has a woody fragrance, and there's definitely a noticeable difference in how it smells when applied versus when it's not on. It really soothes my skin. Since I have sensitive skin, using an aftershave product is essential for me.
