I tried this as a sample first and loved it so much that I decided to buy the full size! I really appreciate how you can wrap the sheet mask with plastic to create a steaming effect, and my skin definitely feels softer and more hydrated afterward. When I layer the cover over the mask, even after leaving it on for over 20 minutes, the sheet never feels dry. It seems like all the active ingredients are being delivered deeply into my skin, so it's absolutely perfect for using during these extra parched seasons! The downside is that I have to peel off and apply the sheet and cover separately, which is a bit tedious getting them both to fit my face properly. Plus, since the cover traps the active ingredients and prevents them from evaporating, it creates a suffocating feeling during humid, oily seasons like summer, so I can't use it then. I only reach for it when my skin is really dehydrated. I found out you can actually leave it on for longer than 20 minutes! As long as you remove it before the sheet completely dries out, you should be fine.

But I'm not entirely sure about the steaming sensation... it can feel a bit suffocating. When you steam, your skin should feel like it's breathing, but instead it just feels like you've wrapped plastic around your face. I think the biggest advantage is how well it adheres. The film keeps the sheet continuously moist, so it really doesn't dry out. Whether it's because of the oil content and the film, or because the sheet itself is thick, it sticks beautifully without shifting. I even dried my hair while wearing the film and mask, and it didn't budge or move at all. If you have dehydrated skin, it might feel a bit warm and cause heat to build up on your face. (I personally get heat easily and tend to get breakouts) I managed because I had the air conditioning on and stayed cool, but if you don't regulate the temperature well, it could feel suffocating. Especially for people who run hot easily or have oily skin. I felt reassured using it because it has vegan certification, but when I checked the ingredients again, there's actually one component I need to be cautious about. Honestly, I think the price is a bit steep. The film itself probably isn't expensive, but I wonder if the ingredient quality is driving up the cost. The film feels suffocating, the fragrance is way too strong, and I need more explanation about what makes this different from other masks. The scent is definitely divisive. Personally, I could tolerate it, but it smells like cheap perfume or cheap shampoo. On the second use: the fragrance is definitely not my thing. If you're sensitive to scents, you probably won't like this. If you hate that suffocating feeling, you might not enjoy this either. Since I have dehydrated skin and really dislike that trapped sensation, I gently wiped away any residue with toner after using it. I think people with very dry skin would love this. Also, the eye holes feel a bit small. The mouth opening in the film also feels slightly too small. You could adjust the time you wear the film based on how suffocating it feels.
