This shade has a bit more purple undertone compared to Hints Refined, and it works perfectly as a base lip color for my cool winter complexion. The Summer Mute shade seems like it could work beautifully on its own. The packaging is sleek and clean with an all-white design. Since this is a moisturizing lip product, the application is smooth and never feels dry. I find it falls a bit short when worn alone, so I can't really use it as a standalone lip color. I only wear it for natural makeup looks or with a bare-faced lip aesthetic. And as expected with moisturizing lip products, you can't expect long-lasting wear, but this one has particularly short staying power. Just keep in mind it has a bit of saturation to it. Since it's a tint formula with real color payoff, if you're not into super deep shades, I'd recommend applying it lightly. I also love the packaging size - it fits perfectly between my palm and one knuckle, and it has a nice weight to it that feels premium without being heavy. The design is simple and practical, which I appreciate. The luminous glow is stunning, and honestly, for the price, I'm really satisfied overall. One tip: since it's a tint formula, make sure to blend it quickly after applying to your lips.
