I love how it's not overwhelming at all, and I find myself reaching for it constantly. Since it complements warm undertones so well, when I layer it with other lip products in the same color family, they blend together beautifully. It's truly a great product. Longevity: 3.5 out of 5 stars It's not the best when it comes to wear time It doesn't seem to last as long as that initial application. Rather than clinging to my lips and staying put, it feels more like it's sitting prettily on top. The wear time is pretty average, but honestly, I'm willing to overlook that because I'm so in love with the color. Scent: 3.5 out of 5 stars Nothing special It has a pretty standard matte tint fragrance—nothing particularly memorable. I didn't really find anything disappointing about it. If I had to nitpick, I guess I wish the color lasted a bit longer, but that's really my only thought. It's a straightforward, easy-to-wear tint that does the job. This shade is absolutely perfect for my skin tone. It totally confirmed that I have warm undertones, especially for autumn. I love using it as my everyday base, and when I pair it with a classic nude, it looks even more stunning. My lips get really dry and flaky from this tint. It works wonderfully as a base and the staying power is impressive. You can also use it as a blush and it looks absolutely beautiful. It feels so heavy and suffocating on my lips. I absolutely love the shade - it's a perfect nude tone that's exactly what I was looking for. What really impressed me is that even though it has a matte finish, it still feels moisturizing and comfortable on the lips, which is such a nice balance. The tint formula tends to settle into fine lines a bit, so the wear time isn't as long-lasting as I'd hoped. This shade is absolutely perfect as a base! Tints really are the way to go! There's nothing really to complain about, but it does lean quite orange, which is a bit of a shame.

It doesn't feel sticky at all. It applies like a water-based tint, with a dewy, moisture-rich finish. Your lips might feel a bit textured together, but the surface looks glossy and wet, which is really nice. If you gently dab away some of the moisture with a tissue or cotton swab, it becomes even more velvety. 2. Color 22 Melo is the perfect nude base shade. This is the classic color for a lip base. It has a watercolor-like, soft nude tone. I expected it to be an opaque nude, but it's actually quite sheer and dewy. It's completely different from the matte, opaque base you get with traditional lipsticks. It creates a thin, transparent nude that lets your natural lip color show through slightly, which is a bit disappointing if you're looking for a perfect base. 3. Longevity It has much less color payoff than regular tints, and since it's a base shade, the center of your lips fades fairly quickly. However, the lip line stays nicely defined with the nude tone, so it actually lasts longer than a typical lipstick base. 4. Best For Anyone looking for a tint to use as a lip base. Anyone wanting a lip base product with better staying power than lipstick. Drawbacks You really need to exfoliate and control oil well to prevent dry patches from showing. It can be tricky, honestly. If you have naturally flaky lips, even after removing dead skin, you might see texture the moment you apply it, which was surprising. That said, if you manage your oil and exfoliate properly, it applies smoothly and easily. Tip If a product tends to emphasize dry patches, use it mainly on the lip line as a base to avoid highlighting lip texture and to make overlining easier. The shade shown at the top of the photo is Melo's Classic, but Pia is absolutely stunning! The color is so gorgeous, and it applies beautifully with a smooth, even finish. The pigment payoff is excellent, and it dries down to a lovely matte texture that feels incredibly velvety. This is such a pretty autumn-inspired tint with that perfect romantic vibe. I noticed that Melo's Classic has a slight yellow undertone to it. That said, the color is so beautiful that I'll definitely keep using it. If you apply Melo's Classic as your base and then layer Roco's Classic on the inner lips, you'll get such a gorgeous combination. It's truly a match made in heaven.
