I usually struggle with matte lipsticks because my lips tend to get flaky and dry, even after exfoliating and applying lip balm. But this product is different! It glides on so smoothly and absorbs quickly, giving that natural, second-skin finish without emphasizing any dry patches. It looks like my own lip color, just enhanced. I absolutely love using it as a base lipstick. Since this is a velvet lipstick that absorbs so fast, it does leave some visible marks. If you don't apply it evenly across your entire lips, the streaking can be pretty noticeable.

The color is even more beautiful in person than I expected!! The formula feels moisturizing when I apply it, but it starts to pill and flake off after a few minutes, which is really disappointing.

I've been using only the matte Pia tint, but switching to the Water Velvet formula has been such a pleasant surprise. It feels noticeably more hydrating and I'm really loving how it performs. It glides on smoothly and feels wonderful to apply. The color stays put beautifully without smudging or fading. This works beautifully for everyone, whether you have warm or cool undertones!! I'm so happy with this shade - it's exactly what I was looking for! The color brightens up my face beautifully and it's perfect for everyday wear without feeling heavy. I absolutely love the velvety finish. My lips tend to get really dry starting in the fall, so it's not really an issue with the product itself, but I do notice some flakiness showing through. The color is absolutely gorgeous and the pigmentation is really impressive! It's such a universally flattering shade that I think everyone would love it. I'm very happy with this product! The color is absolutely gorgeous! It glides on so smoothly and feels moisturizing as you apply it, then sets to a beautiful matte finish right away. The color payoff is excellent and even, I'm really happy with this product! You'll want to make sure your lips are well-exfoliated before using this. The color payoff feels natural and effortless, not heavy at all. I love that I can wear it daily with just sunscreen underneath for a lightweight, no-fuss look. It's not the most hydrating formula, so I did notice some flaking and dry patches.
