Since I don't wear makeup often, I tend to use this product for a long time, and I'm very satisfied with it. It's gentle on my skin and removes makeup cleanly. It takes off eye and lip makeup without any issues. After using this to remove my makeup, I tried going over it again with a dedicated eye makeup remover, and nothing came off, which was impressive. I love that it comes with a little spatula for scooping. When I apply it to my skin and gently roll it on, I can actually see the makeup dissolving away. Wiping it off with a soft makeup tissue felt great and didn't irritate my skin at all. Everything is great, but if I had to pick one thing, when I scoop it out with the spoon, the product crumbles a bit, which was a little annoying when applying it to my face. Massage it generously for a while so that the impurities trapped in your pores dissolve out. Wipe it away with a very soft tissue. I'm already on my second jar! (I've used up almost all of the first one and I'm buying it again). The cleansing is absolutely amazing, and my pores look noticeably tighter and more refined. My skin looks so much better! Plus, even though I have dry skin, it doesn't feel tight or greasy at all—I absolutely love it! The finish feels so fresh and clean. This is perfect if you're new to cleansing balms, and I think anyone with dry skin or pore concerns would really benefit from using this. I honestly can't think of anything bad about it! Drawback: The balm feels really stiff and thick. You need to warm it up a bit before applying. If you put it directly on your skin and try to massage it, you have to apply pressure, which can irritate your complexion. Because it's so gentle, I'm not entirely sure if it removes makeup effectively. It doesn't seem to deliver 100% cleansing performance. It contains shea butter, which makes it moisturizing, but it can feel a bit slippery on the skin. This cleansing balm is really suited for dry skin types. The emulsification works smoothly and doesn't cause any irritation, which is great, but when it comes to the overall feel and experience, I actually prefer the vanilla-scented cleansing balm. Not recommended for oily skin. If you dislike that oily, slippery texture, I'd suggest trying a different product instead.
