I have dry skin and when I don't use this, it gets really parched. Now I understand why it's so good! But whenever I try to buy it, it's always sold out. Why does that have to happen? When I used it, it wasn't dramatically amazing or anything. It was just... fine, you know? This cream is absolutely perfect for winter application. Many people aren't familiar with the Benton brand, but it's packed with ceramides, incredibly gentle, and even kids can use it safely. It's fragrance-free and doesn't feel heavy or greasy on the skin. Perfect as a final step cream. It strikes that ideal balance - not too heavy, not too light - so it really locks in all that moisture and keeps your skin hydrated. I've noticed it helps strengthen my skin barrier, which is exactly what I was looking for. The ceramide cream is a bit pricey for the amount you get. I have super sensitive, reactive skin with redness and combination skin type! I tried this fragrance-free moisturizing cream for the first time, and I loved that it wasn't heavy or greasy. The tube dispenser is also really hygienic since you don't have to worry about dust or dirt getting into the product! Unfortunately, shea butter doesn't work for my skin. The next day, I developed small bumps and red irritation all over my forehead, nose, and chin, so I can't use it anymore. Since shea butter doesn't agree with my skin, it would be a shame to throw it away, so I'm planning to use it on my stretch marks instead!

If you have acne-prone skin, it might feel a bit heavy for you. I used to apply it occasionally when I didn't have much acne, and honestly, it seemed fine sometimes. When I woke up in the morning, I could feel my skin texture felt a bit more refined and less oily. Even though it's a ceramide product, it doesn't feel overly sticky at all. I think people with oily skin could use this comfortably during winter. For those with dry skin though, it might feel a little underwhelming. I'm not planning to repurchase right now. I searched everywhere for a product that wouldn't feel sticky, and this is what I finally found. Since just using a hydrating cream wasn't enough to get me through winter without dryness, I was on the hunt for a layering cream. Because I have sensitive skin that breaks out easily if I use the wrong product, I don't usually switch up my creams. But I decided to take a chance and buy this, and I absolutely love it now. I've been repurchasing it every winter since. I layer this on top of my hydrating cream, so I don't really experience dryness. The only time I skip it is when I notice a bit of shine coming through. If I apply it too thickly or use it several days in a row, I do get some minor breakouts. Since my skin is naturally sensitive, I think that's the reason. I love how lightweight and fragrance-free this is—it's so easy to use daily. Even though I have oily skin, it works surprisingly well for me. The ceramides and phytosphingosine really work beautifully together to nourish my skin. The hydration could be stronger, to be honest. I received this as a gift, tried it out, and loved it so much that I decided to buy it myself. It's not heavy at all and feels incredibly light, making it perfect for summer use. While it's lightweight and great for summer application, it tends to feel a bit dry when used alone during winter months.
