The only downside is that it doesn't offer any color correction, so you'll need to layer it with other products if you want that benefit. It's so easy to use and I haven't had any breakouts at all! That's honestly the best part about it. I bought this sun cushion specifically looking for one without white cast, and honestly, it's the best I've tried so far when it comes to avoiding that chalky finish! There's a subtle brightening effect, but it doesn't look unnatural or ashy on anyone. Plus, it feels so hydrating and blends beautifully without clumping. I haven't noticed any downsides yet, but I'll add more if I do as I keep using it. That said, when I apply it around my eyes, it causes some irritation, and the white cast becomes more noticeable and looks unnatural the more I layer it. I ended up buying two refills, but they arrived with a manufacturing date from over a year ago, which is disappointing. The more I use it, the more I wish I'd chosen differently. I'll probably finish what I have and try a different sun cushion next time.

Even when I apply it generously, it doesn't feel cakey or heavy, so I can easily layer it without worry. Plus, the compact design is just gorgeous! There's not much to complain about, but the amount of product feels a bit limited at just 15g. I've already ordered a silicone puff to replace the one it comes with. Since there's only 15g of product, I want to make sure I'm not wasting any of it.

If you find it inconvenient to layer sunscreen, using a sun cushion compact could be a great alternative for you. I was a bit disappointed because it seemed to lift slightly when I applied multiple layers. I bought this based on a YouTuber's recommendation, and they suggested using blotting papers to remove excess oil before application. I bought this as a touch-up product, and while I heard it wouldn't leave a white cast, it does have a slight one. But honestly, the cooling sensation when you tap it on is absolutely incredible—like nothing I've experienced before. It's genuinely amazing! I don't find myself reaching for this very often. To be honest, I think I'd prefer using a sunscreen stick instead. Solid

When they launched their sun cushion recently, I didn't even think twice and grabbed it right away. I really needed a sun cushion because reapplying regular sunscreen when I'm out and about felt like such a hassle. The sunscreen from the same line uses organic filters, but the sun cushion has a hybrid filter formula. I've tried both organic and mineral filters before, but this is my first time with a hybrid blend. I'm taking off one star because there's a bit of white cast. It's not as bad as mineral sunscreen, but when I tap it with the puff, it does leave a slight white tint. The sunscreen blends naturally and gives a subtle brightening effect that makes my skin look beautifully finished. The sun cushion doesn't quite do that, so I'm a tiny bit disappointed about that. Since I have super sensitive skin, the most important thing is that it works well on my face, and I'm really relieved that there's absolutely no eye irritation or breakouts. By the way, I genuinely recommend Benton's organic filter sunscreen and their blotting papers - they're seriously amazing. Even after tapping with the puff, the white cast stays pretty visible, which is a bit disappointing. When you think about having to wash your hands outside, apply sunscreen, and wash again - that whole hassle - the sun cushion is so much more convenient. Regular sunscreen needs to be reapplied every three to four hours to maintain its UV protection. Especially on hot days like these, you really need to stay on top of it!
