I've been using this since early October 2024 through now in November 2025, and what I love most is how lightweight it feels and how well it tackles dehydration. It has more hydration than that greasy shine, and it doesn't pill or clump even when I apply it during my skincare routine before makeup. I have combination skin—my T-zone gets oily while my cheeks are dry, and I especially struggle with deep dehydration that made me uncomfortable even after applying makeup. But this Beyond Angel Aqua Essence emulsion is so gentle and really addresses that inner dryness beautifully. I'm particularly impressed with how smoothly it glides on and leaves my skin feeling perfectly soft and matte. I haven't really found any downsides yet. The lightweight formula feels like it would work great for oily skin types too. I picked this up on the recommendation of a staff member at Olive Young for the first time, and I really loved how smoothly it applies and how gentle it is on my skin. I love using this as part of my morning skincare routine. It applies smoothly before sunscreen without any pilling, and it feels really nice. For evening use, it's quite lightweight.
