While it doesn't create the dense, tightly-packed foam you'd get from alkaline cleansers, for a gentle, low-irritant cleanser with a slightly acidic pH, the lather is surprisingly substantial and doesn't disappear too quickly. This means you can cleanse thoroughly without any hassle or that tight, uncomfortable feeling. It leaves your skin with that signature soft, moisturized finish of a pH-balanced cleanser, but without any film or residue lingering on your skin. Key Benefits 1. Gentle and Soothing Since this brand emphasizes that the whole family can use it, it truly lives up to that promise with zero irritation. I've used it on atopic skin and even on irritated, weeping skin from allergies, and there was no irritation whatsoever. In fact, my skin felt calmed and soothed afterward (possibly thanks to the copper sulfate). My skin tends to look red and reactive after cleansing since I have sensitive skin, but after using this gel cleanser, my skin never gets inflamed. When I use it on irritated areas, my skin feels so comfortable that I keep it on hand like a first-aid remedy. 2. Cleansing That Hydrates It cleanses without drying out your skin, leaving no film, residue, or excess oil behind, while keeping everything feeling fresh and hydrated. Since my skin is extremely dry year-round, I can't use alkaline soap on my atopic areas, but I use this instead. It's so effective at protecting my skin barrier with moisture while gently controlling excess oil and sebum that I even use it as a cleanser for oily skin during seasonal transitions and winter. The Downside The price is the main issue. Since it's a gel cleanser and you need to use a generous amount for the whole family, the cost adds up quickly. I wish they offered a more affordable refill option. The lather is fantastic, the scent is lovely, and it leaves my skin feeling beautifully moisturized. I really appreciate how gentle it is on my skin. Even though I have sensitive skin, I've been using this three times a day. There's no irritation at all, and my skin actually feels like it's getting better. There's really nothing to complain about. I absolutely love how gentle this is! It's really easy to apply smoothly, and it works wonderfully as a morning cleanser or a second cleanse. I use the larger pump bottle, and honestly, the pump dispenser makes it so convenient to use every single day! I definitely noticed that my skin produces less oil after using this product Everyone said it was gentle, so I bought it, but it turned out to be irritating for my skin. This product really tackles blemishes and breakouts effectively. My pores feel completely cleared out, even if it's just temporary, and my skin looks noticeably cleaner compared to other cleansing products I've tried. I wish it had more lather and foam when you use it. Since it's a gel formula that goes quickly, the price feels a bit steep for how fast you go through it.

I finished an entire 200ml bottle and decided to buy the 500ml size. I wasn't sure about it myself, but my mom said she noticed fewer milia after using it, so I've been using it too. Cleansing power: La Roche-Posay Deep Cleansing Foaming Cream is stronger than gel cleansers and Physiogel Gentle Foaming Cleanser. Lather: It's not a rich, whipped cream-like foam—it's more like a bubbly body wash texture. I prefer smaller sizes and would love to buy a travel version, but I kept breaking my nails trying to open the 200ml bottle. I'm not sure why they added fragrance to this. I wish there was a separate facial cleanser version. After washing, my skin feels incredibly soft and smooth. I love that I can use it on my entire body, which makes it super convenient when I'm traveling. The lather isn't as rich as I'd hoped, and the cleansing power is a bit disappointing. It works okay as a facial cleanser, but that's about it.
