I discovered Biome Activate not too long ago. What really impressed me is how affordable and reasonably priced it is. Since finding it, I've been consistently trying out multiple products from their line. Even though it's the warmer season, I felt my skin needed deeper hydration. I realized that moisture alone wasn't quite enough. I was considering adding a separate facial oil to my routine, but then I decided to try Biome Activate Nutritive Ampoule instead. This product really does it all—it hydrates, nourishes, and firms the skin. What's clever about it is that the oil comes in tiny capsule beads. When I apply it and spread it across my skin, these capsules melt beautifully into my complexion. I've been using it without any major irritation, and my makeup applies so much better after using it. The product seems affordable and offers great value for the price, but I can't find it when I search online. I'm wondering if it's been discontinued. This product applies smoothly without causing any skin irritation or breakouts. It's also affordable and does exactly what you'd expect from it. Since I have sensitive skin, I experienced a slight stinging sensation, which was disappointing.

The oil capsules really deliver amazing hydration. I actually went through a rough patch with my skin once, and when I used this product, the moisture it provided helped my skin bounce back. That's why I'm recommending it! I haven't really found anything disappointing about using this product. Apply it by gently popping the oil capsules as you massage it in.

The Capsules Won't Break Down I've tried everything - massaging it in, melting it in my hands first, applying it directly to my face - but the capsules just won't dissolve. They end up sitting on top of my skin and getting tangled in my hair. I think it would be better if the capsules were reformulated to dissolve more easily or removed entirely. I've finished the whole bottle and left this review, but honestly, I still haven't figured out how to get those capsules to break down properly. This is a wonderful essence you can use all year round. If only the capsules would dissolve more easily, it would be absolutely perfect!

I really love finding and buying gentle products, so I'm thrilled I grabbed this at such an amazing price. I wish I'd stocked up on more! There's really nothing to complain about. The price is fair, the ingredients are excellent, and it doesn't irritate my skin. Despite having this challenging skin type, I didn't experience any breakouts or skin irritation while using Biome Activate's Nutritive Ampoule. That's how gentle and effective the formula feels! The texture is quite rich with a viscosity that doesn't flow easily, as you can see in the photo, which makes it incredibly hydrating! True to its name, this ampoule delivers nourishing moisture, and honestly, even in summer, applying just this one product provides enough hydration for the entire day. In terms of oil-water balance, it's not purely hydrating—it has a lovely oily moisturizing quality that really works. The application and absorption are both excellent, so there's absolutely no inconvenience when using it. It's also perfect for prepping the skin with moisture before applying makeup! The biggest advantage I've experienced with this product is that it causes no breakouts and feels incredibly comfortable on my skin. Beyond the comfortable, trouble-free feel, I didn't notice significant improvements in fine lines or skin firmness, which is a bit disappointing. Considering this is a nourishing ampoule, it doesn't seem to have major standout benefits, but the fact that it doesn't cause breakouts and I can use it consistently is probably the best thing about it! While it's a nourishing ampoule that works nicely as a lightweight summer product, I think it might not be enough for fall and winter months. Since my skin is combination type, when I layered a moisturizing cream over this ampoule, it felt too heavy and greasy. Because it's summer and the air is humid, on days when I use this ampoule, I only apply an eye cream to finish and skip the extra layers!
