I introduced you to Blithe's Ice Sun Stick before, and I'm still using it religiously. The Ice Sun Stick is a sun stick packed with aloe to help hydrate and soothe, plus PDRN derived from sea cucumber that tackles both heat damage and sun damage. It's a lightweight sun care that feels fresh yet moisturizing. The formula stabilizes hydration, and when it touches your skin, it absorbs evaporative cooling to instantly lower your skin temperature and that uncomfortable heat sensation. It's an absolute must-have for summer, and as someone obsessed with managing heat sensitivity, I wear it every single day. Beyond aloe and PDRN, it also contains antioxidants like vitamin E and EGCG, so it protects against photo-damage from UVA and UVB rays too. It's a really smart sun stick. It's certified by the Korean FDA as a multi-functional cosmetic with three benefits: UV protection, brightening, and wrinkle improvement. The texture applies smoothly without any white cast, feels hydrating, and finishes clean without stickiness, making it perfect for summer. The cooling effect feels great in summer and it's not greasy at all. That said, if you have dry skin, you might find it a bit lacking in moisture.

It had an old-fashioned feel to it, and I couldn't find anything that really set it apart from the other sunsticks you can buy at regular stores. When I apply it, there's a refreshing cooling sensation that lasts about 5 minutes. It's subtly cool rather than intensely cooling. My redness didn't fade, but while the surface heat stayed the same, the deep heat underneath disappeared after application. This sunstick is fragrance-free, though it has that typical sunscreen scent. The smell isn't overpowering and fades quickly, so it's not bothersome. It spreads smoothly and finishes with an oily feel. After about 30 minutes, it absorbs and feels powdery like nothing was applied, but it's not the type that feels powdery right away. Since I have dry skin, I usually prefer sunscreens with moderate oil content over completely mattifying sunsticks. However, this product pilled on my face when I used it there, so I mainly used it on my neck and body instead. When I use it on my body, there's a slightly sticky feeling right after application, so I need to wait for it to absorb a bit before getting dressed to avoid any discomfort. After using it, I didn't experience any eye irritation, breakouts, or sensitivity. It has a nicely hydrating feel, so I'd recommend it to people with dry skin.

Blade Ice Sun Screen Stick This sun stick has an instantly refreshing and hydrating feel that's perfect for hot summer days. Personally, I'm not a fan of sunscreens that feel sticky or patchy, but this one doesn't have that heavy texture at all. Instead, it feels moisturizing, and most importantly, it creates a hydrating cooling layer that actually reduces skin temperature and heat sensation. I was so satisfied with how cool and comfortable it felt when applying it! Plus, I usually prefer sunscreens without white cast, and this one has zero white cast, which made it incredibly convenient to use as a base. It contains 40.51% hydrating essence and includes 23% pure Jeju organic aloe vera leaf water extracted without damaging active ingredients, along with PDRN derived from cica. Combined with hydrating and soothing benefits, it also features antioxidant ingredients like vitamin E and EGCG that have been proven through scientific research to help with photoaging protection. This really makes me trust the product even more! According to test results, skin temperature decreased by 3.1 degrees immediately, so this is definitely a must-have for summer. The product has completed skin irritation testing, so even people with sensitive skin like me would find it great. I prefer a more powdery finish sunscreen, and while this isn't bad, the hydrating texture was a bit disappointing for my preference.
