This product absorbs into the skin quickly and feels so hydrating that I love layering it multiple times for extra moisture. The hydration isn't quite enough for winter, so it works better as a summer product.

I use it when my skin feels heated or irritated, and it's amazing for calming. The cooling effect really brings down the heat, and the soothing benefits are incredible. Plus, it has enough moisture to leave skin feeling dewy and refreshed! Even my husband, who hates that sticky, greasy feeling, uses this product. I apply apricot serum in the evening, and then I layer this Ice Plant serum before makeup in the morning. It keeps my skin so hydrated that my makeup applies beautifully - it's honestly a holy grail product! The price point is a bit steep. I managed to get it through a group purchase at a slightly lower cost, but I'm worried about when that deal might end. Also, keep in mind this is still a serum with a hydrating gel texture designed for calming, so the moisturizing level can feel a bit dry depending on your skin type. It's absolutely perfect for calming your skin after spending a long time in the sun or after getting a skin treatment!

When I spread it on my face, it glides on smoothly and doesn't feel dry. Though I think I'll need to apply two layers during winter to get the best results. The only downside is the price point. I'd only heard about this popular solid serum through word of mouth, but I managed to grab it at a great price and decided to try it. I have to say, it really lives up to the hype! I suddenly started getting adult acne and tried so many different skincare products, but nothing has been as gentle and effective as this one. My skin is really sensitive, and after using this, I haven't had any breakouts. It calms my skin and takes care of that stubborn inner dryness. I've already gone through more than three bottles! The price is a bit steep, which is disappointing. If it weren't for the cost, I'd use this every single day. I have combination skin, so when I use lightweight products, my cheeks get dry, but if something feels even slightly heavy, my forehead gets shiny. This one has just the right amount of hydration—my dry patches are less noticeable and I'm really happy with it. There's a spoon-like applicator at the top, but honestly I don't end up using it much. I keep applying it with my fingers instead, and I'm a bit worried about it getting dirty that way.

I had high expectations because of the "hydrating and soothing" claims, but... It just feels like your average moisturizing cream, you know? Also, I found it has more oil content than I expected. That's why I ended up not reaching for it as often. Since it's a lesser-known brand, it's hard to find it in physical stores. Plus, you really have to wait for a sale to make the purchase worthwhile. If this serum has a lightweight texture, it's honestly such a breeze to use during summer. They call it an ice serum, and the cooling effect really does outperform other products.
