It's gentle around the eyes, doesn't sting if it gets in your eyes, and it's just a really reliable product. After applying it around the eyes, if there's any leftover on my fingers, I'll use it on my nasolabial folds too. I use a minimal amount in the morning and apply it generously at night for maximum benefits. The glass jar is sturdy and luxe, but the lid doesn't seal perfectly sometimes, so you have to close it again. Definitely use a spatula to scoop it out because the formula melts easily from your fingertips, making it inconvenient to apply with just your fingers. I take about half a pinky nail's worth and divide it between my ring fingers on both hands. Then I apply it in circular motions around the entire eye area. For the upper eyelid, I gently sweep from the outer corner toward the inner corner in a circular motion. For the under-eye area, I massage from the inner corner all the way to the outer corner using my fingertips in circular motions. I've been using this product for about 4-5 years now, and it's genuinely amazing. I had some eczema as a child, so the skin around my eyes was always really dry. Because of that, whenever I'd apply powder eyeshadow, I'd get flaking and terrible creasing. But ever since I started using this product, the dryness has improved so much that I rub my eyes less, and the dark spots have faded too. I've heard that using the wrong eye cream can cause milia around the eyes, but I've never had that issue with this one. There's no irritation or discomfort either. Since my eye area has no oil and tends to be dry, I always make sure to apply this before makeup without fail. Otherwise, my eye makeup gets patchy and cracks. This is a product I'll use for life. The price is a bit steep, which is disappointing. I buy refills separately, but the official online store doesn't carry them anymore. I could get it cheaper if I shopped online, but since the official store stopped selling it, that's frustrating. I use about a cotton swab's worth each time.
