The shimmer is finely milled, so it also works great as a highlight accent. I've been pairing it with a dusty mauve shade, and the cool-toned combination is just perfect for my taste. The price point is quite high, and while the shade itself is neutral and wearable, the shimmer is quite prominent, which does limit how you can use it. If you don't typically wear a lot of eyeshadow, there's a mini size available, so I'd recommend trying the smaller version first before committing to the full size.
