This plum-toned shade is absolutely perfect for light undertones, and I loved the creamy, bouncy texture that feels so luxurious! It applies smoothly at first, but as time goes on, it gets really dry. The color is absolutely gorgeous and applies so smoothly. It's not overly greasy at all, and it looks stunning on. The lipstick case is quite large, which makes it feel pretty heavy to carry around.

It's a pure pink with absolutely no coral or orange undertones, giving you that classic pink feeling. Application: This lipstick applies with a very matte finish. When you apply it to your hand, you can feel the skin shift slightly beneath it—that's how matte it is. It's not quite as dry as a crayon, but there's definitely no moisture to it. Stay Power: Because of that matte finish, this lipstick really stays put on your lips. Even though it's a traditional lipstick and not a tint, the wear time is seriously impressive! Color Payoff: The stain it leaves behind matches the original shade beautifully. Since the lipstick itself is pink, the color deposit is pink too. Texture: Everything else was great, but the texture feels a bit rough, honestly. It's unlike anything I've tried before, so it took some getting used to. I think the matte finish is the culprit—it doesn't glide on as smoothly as I'd hoped. That said, I didn't experience any clumping or patchiness. The color looks natural and beautiful, applies smoothly, and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. The color fades quickly, so I need to reapply it frequently. The shade also shifts noticeably right after application compared to a few minutes later—it gets noticeably lighter. Just dab it on and do a quick blot with a tissue, and it looks so much more natural and seamless.

I layer it over another lipstick base and just dab this hibiscus shade in the center, and it looks so luxurious and expensive-looking. The golden case is stunning too, it feels premium right from the packaging. The case is quite heavy. Since this is a moisturizing lipstick formula, it does tend to transfer and smudge a bit. If you're not careful with application, it can look a bit dated. The price point is pretty steep. I'm not confident wearing this as a full lip color on its own, so I layer Shu Uemura Modern Red all over first and then dab this shade in the center. It looks absolutely stunning that way. If you have cool undertones, you really should try this one.
