This lipstick feels incredibly hydrating and glides on so smoothly. It's a coral-toned lip color, but it leans more pink than anything else. When you first look at it or swatch it on your hand, it reminds you of a dried rose, but once you apply it to your lips, it becomes this beautiful, subtle pink-coral shade. The formula is so creamy and hydrating, plus it has amazing staying power. I picked this up during a Coupang sale event, and MAC is running a similar promotion right now. The selection varies depending on when you shop, so inventory is limited, but if you're curious, definitely check it out. Just so you know, I have no affiliation with that promotion. Bobbi Brown lipstick recommendation, daily lip pick, coral lipstick must-have. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who doesn't think pink-coral tones work for their complexion. It's incredibly moisturizing with excellent color payoff, making it versatile enough to wear anywhere.

I know a lot of people are reaching for MAC Retro Matte these days with masks being so common, but honestly, this one applies beautifully and feels so hydrating that you don't even need to use a lip balm underneath. It glides on smoothly and never feels dry! The color is quite deep, and while I usually prefer full coverage lips, this shade makes me look older when I apply it that way. It's more of a look that would suit my mom better, if that makes sense? The photo I've attached shows what it looks like when I apply it more lightly, so definitely check that out for reference! The color actually looks even prettier when you layer it with other shades. When I want a bit more dimension and mood, I'll apply Bobbi Brown's Hibiscus on the inner part of my lips. Hibiscus alone can read a bit mature, but together they look gorgeous! You can also layer it with a red lipstick like Ruby Woo or any other true red, and it gives you that perfect balance of freshness while still looking polished and put-together. I don't usually splurge on color products, but I had to buy this one after trying it on... There's absolutely no flaking, and it applies so smoothly with a gorgeous creamy finish. The shade looks quite different in photos compared to how it actually shows up on your lips, so I really recommend swatching it in person before you buy! It washes off easily... It's pricey, but I'm really happy with it. When I apply it to my lips, the color comes out more subtle than what you see in the tube, and there's something so sophisticated about the shade. The color is a gorgeous muted plum with dried rose tones. Before buying, I thought this would definitely be an autumn warm tone, and since I'm a winter cool tone, I wasn't expecting it to be my perfect shade. But when I tried it on, I realized it's not just a simple dried rose color—there's a subtle hint of purple undertone that gives it a plum quality. Surprisingly, it works beautifully on my cool winter complexion too, so it turned out to be a great choice for me. Spring warm tones and summer cool tones might find this a bit disappointing, but I think autumn warm tones and winter cool tones will love it. Honestly, this is the first time I've seen a lipstick that bridges autumn warm and winter cool tones so seamlessly. That was really interesting to discover. The staying power is impressive for a lipstick. Especially since hydrating lipsticks typically have weaker longevity than matte ones, this product has the best wear time of any lipstick I've tried so far. I was really satisfied. This is practically at the level of a long-wear lip tint rather than a traditional lipstick. The case shows fingerprints very easily. After touching foundation and handling it, the fingerprints stay right there on the surface. I joked that this lipstick case would be perfect for crime scene investigations. Honestly, the biggest letdown is the price. For this level of quality, I don't think it's worth spending 43,000 won. It's just a common muted dried rose shade with a hint of plum—nothing particularly rare or strikingly beautiful. The color is nice, but I questioned whether I really needed to buy from a luxury brand for this. I personally felt it was quite similar to the Mamonde Creamy Tint Color Balm Intense in Classic Burgundy that I already use, and there's about a 34,000 won price difference. With that money, I could buy three other lip products. That was the most disappointing part. To be honest, the product doesn't justify the significant 43,000 won price tag. While I don't have unlimited funds, I think people in similar situations would agree that 43,000 won is not a small amount, and honestly, for people like me, this isn't really a must-have product. Since it's a hydrating lipstick formula, there's some slipping and shifting when applied. If I apply it all at once in one stroke, it's fine, but with lipstick, you usually need to touch it up multiple times rather than apply it just once. So instead of dragging it on, I prefer to gently tap and press it onto my lips, and that method works much better. I layer this with Eglips Muse Velvet Lipstick V002 Bronzer Pink. I first apply Bobbi Brown Luxe Shine Intense Lipstick in Claret as a base all over, then gently tap Eglips Muse Velvet Lipstick V002 Bronzer Pink on the inner lip area. The color is absolutely gorgeous. It has this warm, slightly edgy late-90s vibe that I'm totally obsessed with. I grabbed this thinking it would be similar, but honestly, they're different vibes. If you're specifically hunting for that 407 look, the YSL lipstick line might be your best bet. But what I'm really loving about this is how it has that oily, ultra-pigmented finish that YSL doesn't have - it's such a vibe. I really hope they release this in more shades because in this era of all-matte everything, this is exactly the texture I've been craving. Not really anything to complain about. Well, the price point is a bit steep. Oh, and my friend thinks the case looks kind of funny - it's like this long stick shape. Also, now that I'm looking at the ingredients, they're not the greatest. Just a heads up - the color payoff is so strong that if you apply too much, you'll end up with that intense 90s celebrity lip look, so use a light hand!
