The scent is really nice. When I let it absorb properly, it has this lovely tacky, dewy feeling that I absolutely love This doesn't seem to work well for combination skin like mine. By midday, my skin gets really oily and shiny. I switched from another emulsion and this one is noticeably worse, so keep that in mind! I'm on my nth repurchase and I'm obsessed! My dry skin stays hydrated and comfortable all day long without any tightness. I've tried Physiogel, CeraVe, and so many others, but honestly, this is my absolute favorite product. The performance is outstanding, and the price is really reasonable too, so I honestly can't find any real drawbacks. The hydration lasts impressively long, and there's no irritation whatsoever. It applies so smoothly and feels incredibly gentle on the skin. I can barely detect any fragrance, which is actually perfect for sensitive skin. This is my first time trying this product, and I'm genuinely thrilled with it. I really think this will work beautifully for all skin types. Honestly, I can't think of any downsides. Since I started wearing masks regularly, I've been dealing with some skin irritation flare-ups, which is why I picked this up in the first place since ceramides are the star ingredient. When I used it on its own, at least it didn't make things worse. It didn't dramatically transform my skin overnight either, but honestly, skincare products aren't medicine, right? Overall, the product just feels really solid and dependable. Plus, the bottle is pretty generous in size, so it lasted way longer than I expected! There weren't really any major issues, but sometimes the product felt a bit too oily - though not consistently. This ceramide emulsion delivers reliable hydration that works beautifully. I found it incredibly handy during my busy fall mornings when I needed to get ready quickly. While it's definitely affordable, the plastic packaging does feel a bit lightweight and inexpensive, which affected my overall impression of the product. That's why I picked this up. When I skipped the emulsion and just used the hydrating cream, my skin felt really dry. But once I added this emulsion, the moisturizing cream works so much better and keeps my skin properly hydrated. Love that the packaging has a pump dispenser too! The scent is supposed to be forest-like, but it's not grassy or anything. It's just a subtle hint, which I'm totally fine with. The description says it's 76 percent water and 24 percent oil, but in May it feels a bit oily when I apply it. Once I use the emulsion first, even a lightweight hydrating cream seems to be enough. The product description actually mentioned a helpful tip that if your skin feels dry, you can add a bit more oil to it. I really loved the formula of the Bonajoure emulsion, so I tried several versions and was always satisfied. However, whenever I wanted to repurchase, it seemed to be discontinued. That's why I started buying the newly released emulsion instead. When I got the one for dry skin, the formula felt quite similar. My whole family uses this too regardless of skin type, and we're all happy with it. It's not too lightweight and has just the right amount of moisture, so it works beautifully even when applied alone. I loved the seaweed emulsion I used before so much that I wish they'd release a version without all the active ingredients. It's disappointing that it gets discontinued so frequently.
