I've been using this product for nearly three months after purchasing it at the launch promotion price, and here's my honest review. 1. Texture: The formula has a slightly thick emulsion consistency that applies beautifully and smoothly. 2. Moisturizing Power: It's designed to work well for combination skin, so it's not an ultra-rich moisturizing cream. However, since the product is formulated with anti-dryness benefits, I found that the hydration lasts longer than I'd expect from its texture. 3. Absorption: Because this product is made to feel moisturizing, it doesn't absorb instantly like a gel cream would. There is some residue initially, but it fully absorbs after about 20 minutes. 4. Fragrance: It contains rose extract, so it has a subtle, pleasant rose scent that I really enjoy applying. I'm definitely planning to repurchase this for fall and winter. While I'm satisfied with it, those who don't get along with rose extract or dislike the fragrance, and those who find the residual feeling inconvenient might be disappointed. I found that applying a hydrating essence or ampoule first and then using this cream works wonderfully. Personally, it paired really well with the Aesop Rose Blemish Serum in the dry skin version.

It glides on so smoothly that I find myself using quite a bit of product, honestly! After application, my skin feels moisturized but not greasy at all. Instead, it has this silky, velvety finish that feels breathable while keeping my skin hydrated for hours, which I absolutely love. This cream is so effective that just one application after cleansing is enough to give my skin that dewy look, so I can use it on its own or layer it as the final step in my skincare routine. The moment I scoop out the cream, a subtle rose fragrance comes through, making the whole experience feel luxurious and pleasant. If you're not a fan of rose scent, you might be disappointed. The moisturizing finish does tend to linger on the skin for quite a while.
