I've been using the 7-day sample of this toner, and after a week, I'm really impressed with how well it works. This toner genuinely delivers on its promise to deeply cleanse and refine pores. I could definitely feel the difference, especially since it contains AHA, which really makes a noticeable impact. I loved this toner so much that once I finish the sample, I'm planning to buy the full-size version.

I experience sebum production especially on my nose, between my brows, and chin area, so I regularly use exfoliating treatments to manage excess oil. I use this toner in a few different ways depending on my needs. After doing an oil-control treatment and extracting sebum, I either apply the toner to a cotton pad and gently wipe just those areas, or I soak a cotton pad in this toner and layer it with Paula's Choice BHA 2% (which I order internationally) for about 5 minutes on treated zones. This is my personal routine. - Note: This method isn't recommended for those with sensitive skin - This is a skincare approach I've developed over time by observing how my skin responds. Since this toner contains 0.5% betaine salicylate, I believe it offers gentle exfoliation without being too harsh. It feels comfortable enough to use as a daily exfoliating toner, and I think it works best for people with oily or combination skin rather than dry skin types. (I understand that most BHA toners available domestically don't exceed 0.5% concentration.) After removing the treatment, I notice my pores look noticeably more refined. On lazy days, I simply apply the toner on a cotton pad and wipe my skin. **After using oil-control treatments, it's important to follow up with a hydrating serum.** Since sebum continuously regenerates even after removal, I do this treatment about once a week or every two weeks depending on my skin's condition. As for blackhead management, I don't think there's one right answer—if you're genuinely interested in skincare and understand your own skin well, you'll develop your own method that works best for you. I didn't experience any irritation or breakouts while using this product, so there's really nothing I'd complain about. I stumbled upon this by accident, but I genuinely want to recommend it to everyone. I'm definitely buying this again. It's a bit pricey for the amount you get. The container is pretty rigid and the product comes out in thick spurts, which makes it tricky to control how much you dispense onto your cotton pad. For extremely oily skin, even in the depths of winter when just applying toner brings oil to the surface, daily removal of oil-based impurities is absolutely essential! BHA and AHA products are particularly great for tackling oil-soluble buildup. My top 3 daily essentials for oily skin and oil-based impurity removal: 1) Benton Aloe BHA Toner 2) Bonajour Mugwort BHA Toner 3) Merrily Planet Mellow LHA Toner Products 1) and 3) have a gel-like texture, so they gently remove impurities without being too harsh, making them perfect for morning use too. Product 2) contains alcohol, which gives a refreshing and clean feel, but it can be a bit irritating, so I only use it in the evening—either mixed with another toner as an exfoliating treatment or every other day. Using all three products has really helped me manage the small texture irregularities, breakouts from buildup, and excess oiliness. I'm maintaining much better skin now. No real issues. Well, the dispenser opening is a bit small, so it tends to leak. I wish it had a pump design or at least a different nozzle type. I haven't been using it for very long, but I'm already impressed! To be honest, I'd never heard of eggplant toner before and was pretty skeptical since I'm not usually a fan of eggplant-based products. But wow, my skin texture has genuinely improved and feels so refined! The formula isn't sticky at all and applies beautifully with just a light touch. I really love this! I do tend to be sensitive to fragrance, and there is a slightly earthy scent to it. That said, it's not strong enough to be bothersome for me.

But after a friend's recommendation, I ordered a sample from the official website and decided to try it. Instead of the gentle exfoliating treatment I was doing once every two weeks, I tried this exfoliating toner. When I used it for the first time with the toner and applied the ampoule, I could feel my skin becoming incredibly smooth and soft to the touch. Plus, there was no irritation at all. Since I have sensitive skin, I was cautious and didn't use it daily. After about a week, I tried it once a day, and on the second use, I felt some warmth on my cheeks. By the third use, the warmth and tightness became more noticeable. My T-zone was fine though. I've also heard that exfoliating products aren't great with sun exposure, so I'll need to make sure I apply sunscreen well during daytime use. I'm planning to use it a bit more to see if it's truly right for my sensitive and dry skin. I've been using this for 3-4 weeks now. The formula feels really gentle and mild. No breakouts or irritation—it's been smooth sailing so far. The price feels a bit steep for a toner. The scent might not be for everyone at first, but once you get used to it, it actually seems pretty nice.
