It's genuinely velvet-smooth and so soft to the touch! The color is absolutely gorgeous, it's just not quite my shade, which is a shame. That said, it works wonderfully as a base layer. The scent is pretty strong, but it's just your typical cosmetics fragrance. Availability: Since it's available at Sephora, it's really easy to get your hands on. 1. Sensitivity: If you have sensitive lips, this formula can become very drying. I would strongly advise against it if you have that concern. This product is so efficient that you only need a small amount. Simply apply a little and blend it by pressing your lips together, and you'll get full color coverage across your entire lip. Despite being a matte formula, this one feels surprisingly moisturizing and the color payoff lasts impressively long. Plus, the compact size is perfect for tossing into my bag whenever I'm on the go. As expected from a color cosmetic, the ingredient list itself isn't ideal. There's fragrance in the formula, and honestly, this particular scent feels cheap and off-putting. It has that artificial quality that makes me worry it might not be the best for my skin, which is a bit concerning. Color payoff is excellent and the scent is absolutely perfect for my taste. It has this pastel vibe, but even on bare lips it looks fresh and vibrant. My lips feel like they're wrapped in velvet - this is such a gem of a product. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who finds matte lipsticks tricky to apply. Nothing special about it, just one of the products I'm using regularly. Please don't discontinue this. If you find it hard to control the amount with the tip brush, apply it with a damp application first, then gently blend it with your finger for that perfect powdery finish. I'm estimated to be skin tone 22, cool summer muted. I'm absolutely obsessed with matte lipstick, so that's all I wear. No flaking whatsoever. The finish feels incredibly smooth and powdery. Zero dryness or tugging on the lips. It's a toned-down pink with just a hint of gray undertone, but honestly, it's perfect as a nude lip. The fragrance is a bit underwhelming. The price point is on the higher side. If you're not careful with application, it might feel uncomfortable on sensitive lips. If you have naturally thin lips like me and want to try overlining, use this as your base first, then expand your lip shape and apply a deeper shade for a gradient effect - the results are stunning. Since this is a toned-down pink, it's actually perfect for anyone who finds regular pinks tricky. Nude lips become your new go-to. Depending on your natural lip color, it'll either look like a true nude or a beautiful muted pink. Here's a pro tip: use this as a blush and it looks absolutely gorgeous - it gives that natural, flushed cheek vibe that looks effortlessly beautiful.

The only downside is that there aren't many shades I'm drawn to, which is both disappointing and a relief in a way. I'd recommend this to anyone who loves muted tones. The color is genuinely beautiful. It applies more pink on my lips than the swatch on my arm suggests, which is a bit of a letdown, but that's just how my lips are. If I neutralize my lip color first before applying, it looks even prettier. It feels like a more subdued version of the famous Nudist shade, with less red undertone. Depending on my overall makeup look, Nudist sometimes reads too red on me, so this is the perfect alternative when that happens. The scent takes some getting used to, but I'm adjusted to it now. With shades like this, lip exfoliation is absolutely essential. From left to right: Bourgeois Soap Pink, Nudist, Don Pink of It, Peripera Sensibility Filter. Both Bourgeois and Peripera Airy Velvet have that mousse-like feel and dry down to nearly identical textures, but Peripera feels more hydrating right after application, so it actually spreads more smoothly. If you blend Nudist and Don Pink of It together, you'd probably get something close to the Sensibility Filter shade.
