I have sensitive skin and combination skin type, so my skin gets super oily in summer. I decided to try an alkaline cleanser instead of the usual mild acidic one, and I'm really happy with it! I've read reviews mentioning tightness, but since my skin is incredibly oily during summer and I use less product while creating plenty of lather when cleansing, I didn't experience any tightness at all. I'm satisfied that it doesn't irritate my skin or cause any adverse reactions, but I think I'll only use it during the summer season. I have sensitive, delicate skin that gets irritated easily. If I use the wrong foam cleanser, my skin gets stripped and flaky, but when I skip it, I get those pesky little bumps. I've been searching everywhere for the perfect cleanser, and finally found it! Please, please don't ever change the formula - I'm going to use this forever! I used to have terrible reactions with acidic foam cleansers - my skin would feel irritated and itchy. Gel cleansers were just as bad, and when I switched to alkaline formulas, my skin became way too dry. I decided to try the Bring Green bamboo line as a complete set and swap out my cleanser too. Honestly, this is amazing. It's seriously the best foam cleanser I've ever used - I mean it, it's that good. It's so gentle and doesn't irritate my skin at all, yet it leaves everything feeling hydrated. Even when I use thick layers of toner and essence, my skin used to feel tight and parched after washing. But ever since I started using this cleanser, I finally feel that post-wash dryness so much less. I'm genuinely thrilled about it. I just realized this formula contains three pore-clogging ingredients that I usually avoid at all costs. I was so careful when shopping to steer clear of those exact components, but since this product works so incredibly well for me, I'm wondering if those ingredients weren't actually the problem - maybe something else was causing my issues before. Anyway, I love this cleanser so much that unless something goes wrong, I think I've found my forever product. Interestingly, the Bring Green toner and cream triggered allergic reactions on my skin, but this cleanser works perfectly for me. Usage period: February to now Skin type: Combination with dry patches and oily areas - Cheeks: Large pores with visible pore texture - Forehead: Occasional small bumps that come and go - Nose: Persistent blackheads After using a cleansing water or cleansing oil, I follow up with this cleansing foam and can visibly see how thoroughly it cleanses without leaving any residue behind. I used to get frustrated when my pores would trap white residue from the cleansing oil that wouldn't wash away even after using a cleansing foam, but I haven't experienced that once since switching to this product. On the rare occasion when I feel like there might be leftover residue, a second round of foam cleansing takes care of it completely. I also use this foam cleanser during my morning shower, and afterward my skin feels hydrated and any flakiness is nicely cleared away. I grabbed this during a sale at Olive Young without much thought, but I'm so satisfied with it that I'm recommending it to everyone. When my skin is dry, if I don't apply anything after cleansing, my skin does feel a bit tight. Since this cleanser is so effective at removing impurities, it doesn't leave much moisture behind, so you'll probably want to follow up with your basic skincare routine right away to feel completely satisfied. I've also noticed that whiteheads improve noticeably when I apply the foam generously and gently massage my skin with water-dampened hands. Instead of rinsing immediately, try emulsifying a bit of cleansing oil on problem areas and gently massage with wet hands using circular motions for a thorough cleanse.
