I didn't realize this cleansing product could also work as a mask until I tried it! Honestly though, I'm not totally satisfied with how it performs. Even after cleansing, I felt like residue was left behind, which was disappointing. I'm not sure if it's because I'm not used to a cleansing formula that doubles as a mask, but something felt off. This cleanser is so smooth and creates a lovely lather that really gets your skin clean. It's not the tight, squeaky-clean type—it's more hydrating and gentle, so there's minimal skin tightness. It's perfect for your morning cleanse too. I wish the tube packaging was made from a softer material. It would be so much easier to squeeze out the product.

I usually find wash-off masks and sheet masks tedious, so I love that this product combines cleansing and treatment in one step. I don't use it after makeup, but when I've applied sunscreen, I use the same method and follow up with a cleansing water from a bubble dispenser for an extra cleanse to make sure everything is completely removed. I tried the sample first and found it more affordable than other brands, so I decided to purchase the full size and I'm so happy with it. It works wonderfully as a regular foam cleanser too. It doesn't over-strip my skin or cause any uncomfortable tightness. Of course, if you use too much product trying to get a mask-like treatment, the excessive foam can actually irritate your skin during rinsing.
