I was a bit concerned, so I double-checked the ingredients and was relieved to find that it contains no added fragrance, so I use it with complete peace of mind. Texture: The formula is quite rich and thick, somewhere between a cream and an emulsion, so I gently pat it onto my baby's skin. Since it's not a lightweight texture, I think people who prefer a more fluid emulsion application might find it a bit heavy. Moisture: My baby uses this in combination with a soothing gel plus emulsion during the day in summer, and a soothing gel plus cream plus emulsion in the evening during winter. My baby's face stays clear with no breakouts, and the skin looks really healthy. I wish the bottle size were a bit larger. It doesn't seem to live up to the hype... I bought it because people said it was good, but I'm really disappointed. This emulsion absorbs the moment you apply it. Even though it's an emulsion, the texture isn't thin at all—it's actually quite rich and creamy. It feels like something between a cream and an emulsion. It doesn't feel sticky, but the hydration is absolutely amazing. The fragrance is on the stronger side. Personally, I find it really relaxing and soothing, so I love it, but I'm not sure how people who are sensitive to scents would feel about it. I always use wet wipes with Brown products, so when this new emulsion came out, I had to give it a try. Since it's winter, I was torn between this and a cream, but I decided to go with the emulsion. I'm not usually a fan of strong fragrances, so I typically prefer unscented baby products. This product saved the day when my baby's skin was completely irritated and inflamed! I personally wish the container had a pump dispenser instead. After bathing my baby, I apply this all over their body, but my hands get so slippery and messy from the cream that it makes handling the jar really awkward.
